my mom just stared this compost thing and has thousands of red worms i no creepy so i was wondering for a treat could i wash off one of the worms cut it in half (so they can swallow it and put it in there tank will they eat it and is it healthy o ya i have a BETTA!

Sure, as long as it's a small enough bite. Also check in the compost pile for maggots, white worms and other soft larvae, most of your fish will eat them and love them!

No, don't feed him worms from a compost pile. I feed mine dried blood worms, and brine shrimp... it can be purchased in the animal section of any department store real cheap. Red worms or earth worms will kill the little guy!!

you have to cut them up really really small so the betta won't choke and beleive me they can choke and probably will ill you feed them a worm that big even if it is cut in half
