Just give them some more time. It can take new fish several days to get comfortable and eat well.

Let them settle for a day or two before you feed them - it'll take them a while to get used to the new tank and their new tankmates. Make sure you have a shoal - at least 4, but 6 or more is an ideal number for tetras. Provide plenty of plants and nooks for cover and a nice current in the water - you can get a powerhead at most petstores for about $20 and filter attachments are available to help clean the water. I found that my tetras really weren't aware that the flakes floating on the top was food until one of my catfish darted to the top for some air and brought a flake down. After a day, put a large flake in and poke it a bit with your finger until it sinks. When the tetras go after the sinking flake, you can put some more flakes in and they should see them.

Make sure your tank is cycling correctly if it's not mature already; high fluctuating ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels can stress a fish and they won't eat.

Good luck (:

Fish can take a few days to adjust to their new home. Put some flakes in there, and if they don't eat before the food sinks to the bottom, then remove it with a net. Repeat this until they do eventually eat it.

Your fish are probably just getting used to their environment, give it a day or to.
