my new black moor's fins are slowly deteriorating
this is my second one after my last one died after eight great years please help this one

In my aquarium lived among other creatures a catfish named Clyde who is a bully and a small spotted frog named Thadeus J. This morning Thadeus J. was dead and Clyde was bullying the other frog that lives in the aquarium. My husband removed Clyde from the tank and put him in a 5 gallon fishbowl alone, but i'm told that clyde will not survive in there with out filters, pump, and a heater. What should I do about Clyde the catfish bully?

my fish has a swim bladder problem and can no longer swim upright or at all. He just lies at the bottom of the tank helpless and it is killing me to see him so unhappy, he is a larger fish about the size of a medium to large hamster.

I bought 3 three-striped cories (julii cories) and one of them looks like a mixed breed (?)
1. It has stripes down its eyes like a panda cory
2. It is darker than my other two julii cories
3. It's dorsal fin is almost completely black
4. It still has spots, but they are a lot blotchier and they are rounder than other julii cories' stripes
I'm just wondering... why do you think that cory looks like that? It was labled as a julii cory...

i have a lizards tail plant in my aquarium and it says they are very hard to look after and that they need alot of light i have a 5 gallon tank and a small light will the plant survive

I have a bunch of fish in my tank, all community. Last week my molly was biting my gourami. I seperated them, but my gourami has a hole in his side and its getting worse. None of the other fish are bothering him, but I really don't want him to die. Is there anything I can do, maybe some treatment I can pour into the tank. I feel really terrible, because it must hurt a lot and its been a week.

woulkd my beta be happyer in a 20 galon tank by himself at least the water stayes clean and where is a heater in there as well temp about 79 f 26 c w there is alge eater in there as well will he try to figh or get stressed out??

I found that whenever I tried to feed them-they never ate it. ps. I bought the second one after-they weren't togetha since fightingfish-well...FIGHT!...Anyhoo I fed them flake stuff the ppl at the store gave me and then I tried these very very tiny worms made for these fish...What did I do wrong?

ive had him for a year and hes not quite upside down, more pointing his head to the bottom of the tank, when i go up to the tank he starts swimming normally.
hes very round in shape, and i just thought he does this because of his shape

He takes a bite and puts the whole worm in its mouth and then chew and then spits them out....I thought it was cause the worms are too long, but I guess not cause I cut it up for him he still spat it out. He use to eat pallets but everytime he ate them, he swelled up and started floating (I did not feed too much...only two pallets) so I decided to change the food and see how it goes. But my betta isn't swollowing the freeze dried bloodworms...what should I do?? is it only cause its the first time feeding him bloodworms?

The tank is TEN gallons(10,TEN). It is heated and well filtered. It has six fake plants in it and three clay pots for hiding spots. It has already been cycled and everything.

I was thinking about getting either some guppies or barbs. How many of each could I get and what could I put with them? What about a khuli loach or two? Right now there is 11 rosy red minnows in there that I am going to feed to my pihranas. They will be taken care of, all except the little one, he's cool.

Anyways, I was leaning towards guppies. How many and what other fish could I put with them? I do want them to breed, but will most likely feed most of the babies to my pihranas.

ok, so now I know that comets and shubunkins will grow to 16 inches. and they will die of ammonia poisoning before they grow that big. at what size should I bring it back to the store to prevent death? thanks

Okay, I have 3 Tiger Barbs in a 29 Gallon tank, and in my other 10 Gallon which is planted, I have a Betta, Tetra and Pleco. I have heard that Tiger Barbs are fin nippers but can any of you Please give me some advice on whether I should try the Tiger Barbs with the Betta? Thanks!

Okay my brother just got a dragon fish and I know hes not going to take care of it like its supposed to be, but heres the deal. The dragon fish lives in a 10 gallon tank with a puffer fish. I heard that they eat dried blood worms or something but how do i get them down to its level so he can eat them. And is this normal? Okay we had these little rock houses things in the tank and the dragon fish stayed in one of them for 2 days and i thought he was stuck so finally today i got him out and took out the hut he was in. Was that normal or was he really stuck? Please answer im afarid he will die.

Ok my irridescent shark won't swim or anything and is in a community tank, he only moves if he's touched by another fish and usually returns tot he same spot he was at. He's breathing very slowly and is barely eting what should i do?

My fish keep dying.I took a sample of the water to petco and they said it was fine.How many fish can I put in there?Besides the filter and the bubbles, what else do they need in there?How often should I clean it?My brother has a 10 gallon and doesn't even have a filter nor a air pump and when he cleans it, he removes the entire water.The thing is that his fish never die, he's had'em for 3 yrs now.I'm a rookie and I have no idea what to do.I do clean the water, and I do feed the fish once daily.The water also gets cloudy after the 2nd day of cleaning it. I ran out of ideas.Please help!!!

i currently have a 1 gallon tank for them with a sponge filter and some small rocks on the bottom to hide under. i live in a dorm room at a university right now, or else i would move to a tank. will this size bowl work, or should i go to a larger bowl?

I got a beta fish on wednesday and he has been fine, not really eating but he is still adjusting. Today I was looking at him and I saw that he has a hole in his tail. its closer to his body and it looks like he just got a rip in his tail. Does anyone know why this could have happened? It looks like a clean rip but i dont know what it could be from because he only has marbles at the bottom of his tank. Thank you!

it's a 10 gallon and i didn't fill it completely. I started it 2 weeks ago and have had the water i want to add to it inside a one gallon aquarium with an air filter in it. It's completely clean.
