hes always been seen by the mass ranks of the media as a bit of a royal joke, but i think hes proven himself to be in touch with issues effecting the world today, remember he was the one who campaigned for organic farming long before it became fashionable, he seems to have a sense of humour and at heart i think hes a decent enough sort compared to most of the other royal household, i reckon he'd be a good head of the british monarchy what do u think? { im an irishman by the way so im not really into the royals in a big way}

I have recently come across a vintage triple Acme whistle that I can't identify. It is made from stainless steel and has the Acme made in England engraved on the side. It also has the letters G,D and C engraved which I believe denotes the keys. The main body of the whistle has the two whistles and the smaller of the three is welded onto the back. Other than that it has no other markings or serial numbers. I have absolutely no idea whether it's a mariners whistle, a locomotive whistle, a policemans whistle or a sporting whistle, can you help?

Just recently some muslim cashiers at a Target store in Minnesotta refused to ring up pork products because they said it is against their religion. Also, some muslim cabbies also refuse to take passengers who carry alcohol because it is against their religion. What about those christian pharmacists who refuse to hand out birth control pills because it is against their beliefs? How far is this gonna go? Should the government do something about this? How much time do we have left before america becomes hostage to religion?

Why is it that when you only need one, several emerge from the packet at once? And why, when the intended target is sticky and widespread, do they perform self-origami instead of remaining flat, open and useful? Any tips on taming these rascals gratefully received.

...they have never talked to or met when they really perhaps mean they are attracted to that person and would probably like to get to know them and possibly date them?
Some even say they love them and dont hardly if at all know the other .
Maybe this is the new way of saying "I'm Attracted to...." for the younger generations? It really is a misleading phrase in many case, dont ya think? just looking for different opinions and putting food for thought out there....

I've recently been accepted to work as a correctional officer. There is only one small problem, I have to pass a timed run of a mile and a half in 17 min. and 30 sec. This might seem easy however, I have very flat feet. Running and even long walks cause a great deal of pain and discomfort. I've tried diffrent insoles and arch supports in the past but it always seems to make my feet hurt worse. Has anyone found any products that have really worked miracles for your flat feet? This is a job oppurtunity that I really need and will double my current income. I haven't really ran in a few years because of the pain. Am I doomed or can someone show me the light?

I have a very low UCAS point score, but despite this, I have since managed a 2:1 in a BSc degree & a merit in an MSc degree. I want to apply to big jobs but have to lie about my UCAS points and hope they never ask for proof of my results. Can any companies find out my actual score for themselves without asking me through my school or UCAS? Does the data protection act come into this?
