I'm an ex lawyer turned mum.
I prefer the role of mum. Much more challenging than law, but a hell of a lot more rewarding.
I'm as content as I can be, I suppose. However, marital circumstances are forcing me to return to the workplace tomorrow.
Give me a couple of months, I'm sure I'll be content then.

I am a mother of One beautiful but very naughty boy, being a mother is a full-time hard job, it not just about cooking and cleaning for the child it a whole lot more, teacher ,carer ,friend, in fact a life long friend, a life long job.The way you as a mother look after your child has a great impact into their personality. Children should be the joy of our life, in some cases it is not always joy. Children are very demanding, but I think what many people forget to take in to consideration when they become parents is that the child will hopefully by the grace of god become an adult after some years, the way we behave and teach them is so very important. Being a parent doesn't have a choice of being content or not you have to get on with it and try to bring children in to this world the best way you can, even if that means getting help from other people because we dont always know best.

In 59 I was a meat packer at age 11. I worked truck farms, orchards, tree planter. worked in shingle mills, and canerys. I was a logger, a musician, and a construction worker. I was a dishwasher, cook and a janitor. I worked in salvage, polished stone, was a miner and a prospector. And was a landscape painter. Never be content with your job. You can always do better. Other wise your job finished,( is good enough)suffers. Or your (contented)stuck in a dead end job. So don't get trapped in contentment with your job.

I used to be an administrator for the northern parts of the UK in a well known security firm - I loved it. Sadly, I have to stay at home now owning to illness - but if I had to chose another career it would be teaching here in the UK - with old fashioned values. Hope you do not mind me answering as I am not actively in employment any more. But one has to keep the old brain working eh!

For the last ten years, I have been a Private Investigator and have co-owned a private security company. I like it, but I'm not content with it. Not at all.

I'm a sales consultant and the best part of my job is meeting people. Its also pretty well paid (well I'm not doing it for fun now!) and no day is the same, I can work from home, visit customers or go into the office. :o) One day I will do something more creative I'm looking into travel photography at the moment.
