Why is it that when you only need one, several emerge from the packet at once? And why, when the intended target is sticky and widespread, do they perform self-origami instead of remaining flat, open and useful? Any tips on taming these rascals gratefully received.

They are indeed a lower form of life, however one must remember that they only act upon an extra-sensory command emitted along with your infant's high pitched cry.... For example if said babe is happy and jolly the wipes are dispensed without a hitch, however attempt wipeage on an unhappy, squalling infant and chaos will ensue.

For the record, of course, the answer is to take a few wipes out of the package and lay them out before you even bare baby's bottom, placing them atop the fresh nappy whilst you reveal the carnage within.

ask yourself, what did we do before baby wipes? Answer, either wash the baby (not always convenient if you're outside the home) or carry a spare damp flannel in our bag. Much better for the nevionrment, can be washed, cheaper too. You will never win with the baby wipes, try a flannel instead and spend the money you've saved on some luxuries!

As long as you insist on feeding them, it'll be hard to keep them away.
