...they have never talked to or met when they really perhaps mean they are attracted to that person and would probably like to get to know them and possibly date them?
Some even say they love them and dont hardly if at all know the other .
Maybe this is the new way of saying "I'm Attracted to...." for the younger generations? It really is a misleading phrase in many case, dont ya think? just looking for different opinions and putting food for thought out there....

I don't think it is that new. I used to say I liked boys when I was a lot younger. Mainly it was that I liked how they looked, I liked how funny they were in class, and I liked how smart they were. It wasn't that I knew them that well, but there were traits that I saw that I liked. Yes...it would have been probably more accurate to say attracted to, but that didn't exactly sum it up either. Because once I got to know them...I might be attracted to them, but not like what I got to know about them which would blow the attraction.

I think the important thing is they know what they mean when they say it. They may be getting a little too serious with the word love if they haven't met that person, but I have seen adults pull that one out of nowhere too. :)

undemanding respect should be shown to each body. in spite of the undeniable fact that, I actually have said many dad and mom apparently coach their boys to respect women human beings, yet oftentimes no longer different adult men. The opposite, women human beings respecting adult men, also would not look severe on the priority list of many dad and mom of daughters in accordance to what i have seen in existence. Others on right here have informed diverse memories, so possibly it comes from living in a more beneficial classic section, yet ladies and women human beings i know oftentimes do not respect adult men in any respect. So at the same time as i imagine that's a sturdy idea, we ought to always be training our young ones to respect all and numerous in spite of gender (is rather, for sure, there are human beings obtainable who do not deserve respect era).

I agree, that word is just weird. Some young girl and boys get to know the person first before saying they "like" someone. What really bugs me is when they they Like someone just because of their looks. They could have the worst personality, but they like them anyways. This generation is really confusing......

Yeah, I agree. "Like" = "attracted to". I find kids saying this in Australia. Or even using the American phrase "got a crush on..."

Too much TV watching, hey?

Think it's a confusion of emotions issue. Not really in tune with their own feelings and blowing their emotions out of context. Part of immaturity.

i agree dude, but i think that younger generations should live their lives, they shouldnt worry abt love and such things, cse i think its not for their age.

while im writing this im looking for someone to love, to love is something grt but you need to be very carefull when you are in love at a younger age, no one can stay without loving anyone.

Oh please. It is hardly a new way to say it. "Like" was the term in common use when I was in elementary school and I'm sure for decades before that.
