I'm having trouble telling if my 2 Angelfish are male or female. One of them has black-ish stripes going vertically and the other has a plain body with a black stripe going down from its eye. Please help I'm getting frustrated calling my fish "it"s. I could also use help with my Bala sharks.

Put two convicts in a tank together they beat each other up, so we removed one and now 4 days later there are 100's of fries. How can you tell if the yolk sac is gone? Nether fish has the hump that the male is supposed to have. HELP???

My brother has a blue, male betta fish that just won't move. He keeps him in a bowl, not tank with ne heater or filter. He won't eat, and just sits on the top of the water. I don't think my brother takes good care of him. His water is probably too cold, and he wasn't fed once for 2-3 weeks. He was rarly fed even when I metioned he wasn't looking good. He has no symptoms of any disease like ick on anything. Whats wrong?

I was watching my fish swim checking for ick and stuff like that when all of a sudden my giant danio started spitting out what looked like smoke it did this about 3 more times. Is this something bad? or good? what causes it? To much food? any help will be great Thanks

heres the deal, bought a betta this time last year, went perfect till 6mths ago when I changed its water, I always change his water at least once a week, for 6mths he did perfect, then all of sudden I did a water change (same way as always, I did nothing different) and he went belly up, then started slamming himself against everything (he was fine and had never done this, till this exact moment) so I thought, oh gosh, I didn't rinse it enough, so I took him out and added him to a clean bowl of water, rerinsed the big one, and added him back in...same thing...(but I did nothing different) thinking he was going to die, I quickly called the pet shop, but they said they couldn't help, so I waited....the next day, he was alive, but not the same betta, listless, not eating, etc. this went on for a total of 6mth, until finally the other day he died, now like I said I did nothing different then the previous 6mths, and he was fine till that very moment....what happened?

My betta keeps darting around his bowl, he keeps going through the plants and just thrasing around. I think he might have ick because that was a symptom but he doesnt have any signs of the white salt looking spots and he eats well and the bowl is clean and he still as his colour.

Ok, I got a glass fish last weekend. here's a pic. in case you don't know what it is because I didn't until I first saw him.

Let me tell you they are hard to catch in a net when changin' the water. Anyway, I have been noticing this beard/pimple looking thing on his chin. It's really small, but it wasn't there when I first got him. Is it something I should be worried about or am i being paranoid?
