Hi there, my BioOrb 60 litre tropical aquarium is all set up and ready for the fish to be added, and I am just about to buy the first ones today. If I get 2 black mollies, 2 silver mollies and 2 red platies, is that number of fish ok to start off with and is the proportion of varieties ok too? Any advice would be great.

his body seems bigger that his head. it swims using his whole body. it looks totally different in shape to the other ghost koi. It brings its head right out of the water takes a gulp of air and then blows bubbles out of its gills and then sinks back down and stays still. was eating but shows little interest in food most of the time. can you tell me what is wrong and how i treat it

My bf got a but rough with him trying to catch him and it seems to have taken some scales off the top of his head. its fairly small but now hes acting a bit hurt... hes staying in one corner and not really swimming around... Will he be okay?

My cousin gave me a fish tank that they don't use anymore for my new fish, but I don't know how to put it together. Here are some pics of all the pieces.

Hi! I have thirteen one month old baby guppies that are becoming very active! They don't seem to be crowded but I think they would like more room to explore and swim. I was wondering if I should get a larger tank such as a ten gallon tank? I would appreaciate your thoughts and thankyou for taking your time and answering this question! *guppylover*

I have a large man made pond about 1/2 an acre or a little more in Pensylvania. There are mostly bluegill, carpi and some bass in it all ready. We are having big problem with the grass growth in the pond which is really deep towards the center. What are the best kind of fish to introduce to help control the grass and where can I get them?

I have decided to experiment with fishless cycling. It is driving me crazy that it is taking so long for the nitrItes and nitrAtes to come down to the correct parameters.

It has only been a little over two weeks but it seems like a month has passed!

To those who have done this before, how long did it take you and will you continue with this method of cycling your tanks?
