my tank has algae i have two bristle nose but they are lazy and not cleaning the tank any suggestions please the filter pipe has a bit of algae why are the bristle nose not cleaning

Chinese sucking loach,you can get them in two colours brown and yellow,they don't grow too big and spend half their life stuck to the glass in the aquarium hoovering algae up,you can also buy a magnetic cleaner from your local fish shop,they are not expensive and will help things a long till you get some algae eaters.

It depends on what kind of algae you have growing. If it's the blue/green algae nothing will eat it. If it's brown aglae or BBA only Siamese Algae eaters will eat it.
You might do better finding out why it's growing and change the conditions to prevent its growth.

Maybe you should get a pleco.
