First of all is it fried or broiled? Fried cod is no different than any other fish. Broiled...now we are talking iwth vitamins and minerals although I will be cut off from this.
Any fresh fish will give you the same and dont' let anyone tell you differently.
fresh fish has the most of all vit. and min. Even long johns only cooks white fish not cod. This has been going on for years, although the ee's aren't alowed to tell you. Cod is a good fish and very good for you. It contains many antioxidants that your body needs. However you can get the same antioxidants from other sources. Depends on who you are and what you are I guess. When you grow up, perhaps I will tell you if you are, ask again considering the response I just received.

Oh yes, fish is good for you and cod is probably the most common. The oil in fish is good for digestion and other bodily functions. Eat lots.

No! Just in case you forgot, cod for dinner = rotting fish flesh for dinner. You wouldn't want a dead animal that filtered all the ocean pollutants in it's body in your stomach, now would you?
Eating animals is gross, wrong, cruel, and dirty.
