i have yet to lose a fish this month
march is my best month so far in handling fish

-they just die the next morning one by one

-temperature....hmmm i dont have a thermometer but if you are asking what kind of
climate we have here...it is hot-very hot-hot and so on....

i never spotted and disease on them except for the one glowlite who had been swimming sidewards.

i always keep my water clean.
except for last week.
only a glowlite died last week anyway.

i have an oxygen and filter system.

hello
im thinking about upgrading to a bigger fishtank, probably a 5 or 10 gallon tank, what are some good fish community ideas? I want to get a black moor (the black ones with bulging eyes), and possibly either a calico goldfish, a betta, or some zebra danios, but i cant have them all. what are the best ideas.

experienced fish keepers answer only please (ie, if you havnt owned more than a species or two of fish, you wont be much help :P )

How long is the warrenty for walmart fish?
They tell you 3 days with your receipt,
but the bag they put the fish in says 90 days with reciept .
When you take them back, they say 3 days at the return counter, even though I had the original receipt , bag and fish with me.

Is it okay to put a betta fish in a jar for maybe two hours or so while I clean its tank, put the plants in, and let the water sit? I have some aged water, but not enough for both tanks. (We had to separate them because they wouldn't stop fighting through the divider.) I might be able to age some more, but I think I used the only pitcher we have, and we have no bottled water.

I have two pregnant gguppies, and one of them looked pretty big. I thought she would get even bigger, so I didn't put her in the breeding net yet because I didn't want her to get stressed from being in a small area. This morning I looked at her and, I think, she looks a bit smaller, and her gravid spot is red? I don't see any babies. Did they get eaten? What should I do?? She is in there with one other female, and three males. I guess I should've put her in the breeding net..or put some floating plants for the babies to hide in? HELP

ok so i was looking at my fish last night, when i noticed some tiny tiny tiny white spots on the two blue platies an the mollie. all three fish are silver in colour and the white spots are only on there tails, they really are tiny. i cant notice any on my other fish. the one blue platie is pregnant. im really worried as ive read so many questions about ick!!! ive only had my tank set up for about 3weeks and ive only had the fish for one week! all the fish seem to be sound, eating well and swiming well. so if it is ick then y? wot caurses it? is it b'cuz i need to clean my tank? my tank doesnt look dirty at all. will my fish die? wot shall i treat it with? say i treat them for ick and it turns out not to be will the medication kill them? will my platies babys be ok? sorry to ask alot of questions but im really new to all this, and really dont want to lose any of my fish.
thanks in advance

ps, if you going to answer in a rude way just to earn yourself points then dont bother!

I have had a saltwater aquarium for over a year now. Every type of fish I have put in there is still alive to this day except for Butterfly fish and angel fish. Both of those types of fish die within two weeks every time. I have a friend who has had the exact same problem with those two types. Any suggestions on what we might be doing wrong?

I own some guppies, two are preg, they stay by the filter and are not eating. Are they sick or what? Should I put them in a breeding tank? I have 3 females and 2 males. Would it be okay if I move the preg ones to another tank? If I do then i have only 1 female to two males. What should I do because I don't want any of them to die. (I am more concerned over the pregnant ones not eating.)
