Clout from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals is a good brand. Most any parasite removal medication will do the job though. Anchor worms can be removed by hand with a pair of tweezers, but I would still treat the tank to get any small one's that you might otherwise miss.

Medication of choice would be anything containing potassium permanganate. If you're unable to find this, look for medication with copper sulfate OR formalyn. Treat according to product directions.

If you've already pulled the worms out, add 1 Tbsp of canning, kosher, or other salt that's not iodized to prevent secondary infection.

You may need to treat your fish more than one time, because there may some anchorworms that are attached to your fish, but which haven't errupted yet.

any treatment for parasites will work. i use either jungle aquarium products or meredyl ( spelling?) products. also do you have aquarium salt in your tank? not enough to make it brackish or anything. i always add 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons, and now i have no problems.

Your vet would be able to answer that question best. Give him/her and call and see.
