How long is the warrenty for walmart fish?
They tell you 3 days with your receipt,
but the bag they put the fish in says 90 days with reciept .
When you take them back, they say 3 days at the return counter, even though I had the original receipt , bag and fish with me.

Live creatures are an exception to their return/exchange policy. They are actually generous with their return time as most places only give 24 hours if any at all. However, I personally would never buy fish at WalMart. We have never had luck with their fish. They tend to be sickly. My husband decided to get our son a small tank with a fish in it; he went through three fish in one week. They kept dying, and we have always had huge tanks set up in our home. We knew we were not the problem. We also bought feeders from them, and they wiped out our entire salt water tank. PetCo has been better for us. It doesn't matter how many societies one person belongs; there are a lot of people out there with the same experience. Also, we do not generalize on one store, but speak of three different stores.

They need to start using different bags then. You could complain if the money means that much to you. And people, don't generalize. Walmart fish are only as good as the supplier. The WI supplier has the best fish in the state and they are sold at walmart. I'm a member of three aquarium societies, I have 13 tanks and growing, I've been in the fish business for years--and I recommend WI walmarts all the time for quality fish. When a company has thousands of stores, you can't generalize that all are as horrible as the one or two you've seen.

dont ever buy walmart fishies they always seem to end up dieing after a couple of weeks ... i would of threw the fish on the counter and starting demanding my money back and wanting to speak to the manager or something or another and i would of pointed out what it had said on the rcipet but then again the 90 day return policy could be for clothing or items as such ...

Guess you have to go with the 3 day time limit then. Do yourself a favor and by your fish some place else. Walmart is not known for healthy fish. You don't want to make any fish you already have sick by adding walmart fish to your tank.

It relies upon on the guy shop. often they do no longer care as plenty relating to the fish/do no longer understand as plenty approximately fish, because of the fact they're additionally busy focusing on advertising 'each and every thing' else, like tires and milk, so the fish are not stored as healthful. puppy shops often have greater wisdom and take greater effective care of the fish given this is especially plenty the only reason they stay in company. yet merely like the occasional undesirable puppy shop, there is the occasional sturdy walmart. Ours was terrible, yet merely this final 300 and sixty 5 days they should are transforming into a clean guy or woman in cost if the fish because of the fact now it is so plenty greater effective (although I nonetheless in many circumstances see quite some ill fish, lifeless fish, and underfed fish). i'm rather choosy approximately as quickly as I get fish from there, because of the fact it form of sounds like if one is ill, they're all ill. suitable now I even have 5 african chiclids and a guppy and a few fiddler crabs from there that are merely effective. yet I even have had undesirable success with their goldfish (and confident i will shop goldies alive, my contemporary ones are throughout 3 years previous residing in a ninety gallon tank), and a few guppies that did no longer final long. I hardly get fish from there although. seems merely like hit or pass over ***and $2 for a goldfish is low-priced. i've got spent i've got spent $8 on a goldfish, yet she became additionally 7 inches long, $5 on my black moor, 3$ for my lionhead, $8 for my veiltail (because of the fact they're so confusing to return by making use of around right here), $3 on my shubunkins, and 35 cents at something :) It merely relies upon what you're searching for. some goldfish are nicely worth thousands of greenbacks.

It depends on the store, if they tell you it is 3 days then it is 3 days regardless of what the bag says. The walmart near me gives you 7 days.

You should never have bought fish at Walmart.

It will die very soon.

Ever wonder WHY they give you a warranty???

Return it and get a fish at a pet store.
