I REALLY need some help , I have two bettas (females) that I want to put in a ten gallon tank with other kinds of fish, but I read on the net about the females needing three or more to "establish a pecking order" so I planed on getting another betta. So do I put them in the tank at the same time? or in a bowl so that they will see each other at once ? How will know if there pecking or fighting ? and if they do become friends will they still chase each other around and bite off needed parts? (Fighting) and hide Someone PLEASE help I dont want to wake up to my fishy fu's Belly up (T.T)

I have heard that CT's are more aggressive than the regular bettas, but can I still keep a CT male with cory cats?

P.S. For those of you that are ignorant and are going to say "NO! Bettas eat other fish!": no, bettas DO NOT eat other fish! They are generally peaceful with most other fish. For example, I have a betta in a community tank and he never has eaten or harassed anyone.

I have my fish in a filtrated tank with a bubbler and a decent tank. I just got it, and I was wondering what's up.

I have attached links below to videos and pictures of the tank and
where the fish hides all the time.

I've had 1 oscar for a while and got another smaller one. The smaller bigger one picked on the small one for a long time but has stopped except for stealing his food.... the small one seems to be really disoriented and can't really control his movements. If he is touched he will flip uncontrollably...it's REALLY strange. He also wades vertically sometimes.... any ideas?

I just introduced a second cory into my tank (I was told to intro them slowly rather than a group all at once), I noticed that the new cory began vibrating and lying on the first cory (which is larger and I presume a female)...This went on from the moment he entered the tank and until now (20 minutes later)!Would they try to mate this quickly? I've heard conditions need to be a certain way for breeding, so I have no clue if they would start at it like this! I also don't want any fry...I just want my group of cories, along with my platies! Any help would be appreciated seeing that I would want to return the new cory if it is a male and interested in breeding with my female cory!

We have a 10 gallon fresh water fish tank which we have had since December. We have several guppies and an algae eater in the tank. There have been no problems until now. In the last 2 weeks, the water has turned very cloudy and green. The water is testing fine by both our strips and the store's tests. We have performed 40% water changes every 3 days at the suggestion of the store where we purchased the tank. We started to use a tap water conditioner and "Cycle" with every water change, but nothing is working. It is not in direct sunlight, we are very careful with the feedings and we have vacuumed the rocks and cleaned the glass and plants with each water change. We have a carbon filter in the tank and a heater. My daughter is upset she can no longer see her fish and, quite frankly, it looks disgusting. I have followed all of the suggestions given with no success. Anyone got any new ideas?
