I have heard that CT's are more aggressive than the regular bettas, but can I still keep a CT male with cory cats?

P.S. For those of you that are ignorant and are going to say "NO! Bettas eat other fish!": no, bettas DO NOT eat other fish! They are generally peaceful with most other fish. For example, I have a betta in a community tank and he never has eaten or harassed anyone.

IME no betta morph is more or less aggressive than any other morph. And IME all bettas are great with cories. Just keep them with fish that do not have long flowing fins and no fish that will pick on the betta and 90%(roughly) of the time they will do great together.

Your betta should be fine with the cory cats. The only time you'll run into a problem when keeping a betta in a community tank is if there is another fish with a "showy" tail or fins. Then they feel they are in compitition. That does not seem the case with cory cats.

They only hate other male bettas. I have mine in the guppy tank with a cory cat, and everybody couldn't be happier. My betta colored up even better, and it's beautiful to see him swimming in a huge tank compared to a smaller bowl.

crowntails are oftem more agressive, but they should be fine together. be sure there's plenty of room and that the tank is well planted and I'm sure they'll be fine together.

I never heard any type of bettas being social with other fish. The other name for bettas are called siamese fighting fish. Especially males. All bettas I have ever had been in tanks by themselves. You can try to put your crowntail in with ur corycats and see how it goes. Worse comes to worse you seperate them.

Sure you can. I have never noticed crown tails to be any more or less aggressive than veil tails or regular bettas.
