My background looks two toned since part of it is wet. HELP!

Most likely it's condensation and nothing to worry about. Make sure the filter isn't leaking a little bit though.

Probably just condensation. I'm sure you probably checked for leakes before posting anything here, so probably you have nothing to worry about. To avoid the unsightly 2-toned background you can adhere the background directly to the back of the tank. There are spray on adhesives you can buy that will do this. Or you can just use vaseline or cooking oil. I use cooking oil myself as adhesives are not always aquarium safe and vaseline is a pain to clean up.

Are you getting spill over or a leak from the aquarium or is it condensation from room temperature changes ? Those would be the first things to look into and then go from there if that is not the problem.

It's probably excess moisture. Or if you have the tanks that has those overflow filter setup or any filter that has a lid over it it's probably when you lift up the lid the evaporated water trickles down and gets between there. Hope it helps.

This is due to the moisture being around the area in question. If you look closely in a closed window room which has a tank in it, the windows will eventually steam up...

didnt you take 8th grade science lol... When a glass object gets cold water condenses around it and inside it. Go get a glass cup, pour cold water inside and wait 10 minutes lol
