Can I put Cherry Barbds with a Betta Fish?

To be honest, the best way to keep all fish safe is by schooling them. Bettas attack everything unless in a school of AT LEAST 6 or more.... I have 10... ANY lone fish is going to get picked on. Always remember to match body types as well. This aids in all fish getting the proper amount of food. Starvation is a slow and horrible death.

Honestly most barbs are fin nippers, and will eat your bettas fins. I would risk it even with a small barb like the Cherry Barb.

Cherry barbs are small and for barbs quite peaceful. I wouldn't say it's guaranteed it will work, but I would say odds are good it will work. Personally, I would put them together and watch them carefully over the first few days.

they are the more peaceful of the barbs, but i still wouldn't put them with a betta personally. i wouldn't risk any betta with a barb, nippynippy!
