I would run out for another aquarium and let Clyde be by himself. That mean Clyde needs to be alone.

It would seem for now that the simplest solution would be to have Clyde and the other frog switch places (if Clyde gets along with the other residents in your tank).
You frog might need warm water temperatures, but they don't requie a filter. If he's an African dwarf or clawed frog, they surface to breathe. You will have to clean his tank frequently, and put something over it so he can't jump out with the 5 gallon setup. But if you want to keep Clyde and the frog, you will eventually have to give them both a home. Is Clyde's bullying because he's getting cramped in too small of a tank, or are there too many fish in it? He might need a larger tank to himself, or with fish his own size. You could use the present tank for the frog and any smaller fish.

How badly do you want to hang on to Clyde? If you want to keep him, then do what it takes for him to be able to survive alone in a tank or maybe he needs a girlfriend. Find a fish that is "fish & frog friendly" when adding to your aquarium. My sympathies to Thadeus J.

The catfish is just doing what catfish do, trying to eat a frog. You need to choose between frogs and catfishes in your tank as they really don't belong in the same tank (as you have found out). All you can really do is pick one and take the other to a pet store to get rid of it. Please don't release a fish into the wild, it's quite damaging.

Okay, A don't let him go in the wild, he could be a foreign fish and screw up the ecosystem.
What kind of catfish is he?
WHoever told you that "Clyde" will die without necessities is right, he will.

I would take Mr. Catfish down to the local stream and set him free, after all , a catfish isn't exactly the kind of thing to put into an aquarium.
Nor is that fair to the poor frogs. Think about it.
