I can't take it anymore. This is the 4th or 5th time my cat has had cystitis in 3 years. Now, I have two children, both under the age of 2. I can't have her "tinkling" around the house. Is it wrong to ask the vet to put her down? There is no cure and no medicine helps. I'm at my wits end.

I found 2 orphan kittens by the road and decided to help them.
I started feeding them milk not knowing it was bad for them :( I didn't have any internet access cause i was at the beach.
once I got back home I did research and to my horror milk is very bad for them .. :(
that very moment I went to the local pet store and bought some KMR..
during these 3 days they didn't poo at all, only pee and to my surprise they knew how to use the litter box.
the pee is clear which I read is good but they won't poo, I have tired stimulating them with a warm cotton and towel but nothing :(
they seem very happy though, their stomachs are not round, they only cry when they are hungry, no vomit and love playing with each other. they are roughly 4-5 weeks and i starting giving them solid food mixed with KMR which they enjoy :) this is day 5 and no poo though, i wanted to go to the vet but my mum doesn't want to pay and im a student with next to no money.. all my money goes to uni items and rent, help :(

would you hand feed her, and for how long before you took her to the vet? And, at what point (after finding nothing wrong with the pet) would you let the veterinarian continue to give her tests? At $600, at $700, at $800? And then what would you do with your pet?

I gave my cat milk, and she threw it up. When she threw it up out comes a 1.5/ 2 inch white flatish worm. It was moving. I am scared that it is a tape worm and I have been looking online and can not find anything helpful. She is going to the vet tomorrow morning but as you can see I am freeting. So any answers please!

I have an adult cat who recently had a litter of kittens.
The kittens are old enough to eat by themselves and go to new homes (3 of them actually just went to their home today - we have 1 left), but the mom is still lactating so the kittens still sometimes have her milk.
When can I get her fixed?
Should I wait until all the kittens are to their new homes? How can I tell when she is done lactating after the kittens are gone?

Thanks bunches! I've been wanting to get mommy fixed for awhile, and I want to get it done before she manages to escape outside again.

My fiance is a big cat person. I'm really not a big fan. However, he loves them dearly so I grin and bare it and accept them as part of the family. Both of them have fleas. He has been treating this. One is pulling her fur out until she bleeds. She looks kind of strange. I don't like the idea of having her walking all around his room where I sleep and sometimes eat. There are clumps of hair around with the root and blood. She freaks out ans sometimes uses the bathroom in wrong places. His mom has told him that until she gets well he needs to put her in some sort of smaller area like a bathroom or a large "carrier" or something until she's better. In his room the fleas bite me and I don't like it. He is feuding with his mom because he doesn't want to confine her to a smaller area or anywhere other than his room. Can her presence, blood, sores oozing be a health hazard to me and my fiance? If so can you give me any information I can share with him about it. Thanks for any help!

This male stray that i have been feeding has really trusted me. He comes to me as soon as i open the door, comes when i call him, rubs against me and rolls on the floor in a friendly way. (we are getting him neutured and vaccianted soon) I have noticed that when i first see him he is all affectionate but after i feed him i can still pet him but he is not that interested.

Is the Black Jaguar from Central America and I believe some other countries in South America, the fiercest Great Cat to tame or handle?
I understand its ferocity does not lend itself to training at all!
I would be very interested to know, though!

I just adopted a kitten from the pound and there was no age given other than= kitten. I want to do a flea treatment on him, but it says ONLY FOR CATS OVER 12 WEEKS OLD- He doesn't still eat from his mom obviously, and some cats 12 weeks do, should i just assume he's old enough for this flea treatment?

My baby, a persian I rescued and nursed back to health, is now 7 months and has never been without me. She started getting liquid stool yesterday- when I started running around bringing stuff together for packing. I feel like she knows I'm going. I have a great pet sitter, but I feel so Bad!!!
I have rescue-remedy drops for thier water, but I think it's ME who needs them ;-)

Although she is a neutered, this cat backs up to furniture and while she is spraying backwards, her tail is up, fat, and quivering. I know it's a behavioral problem, and that Normally females don't do it, but she does. I'd hate to have her leave.

I have this stray cat, she hangs out usually on my porch and I feed her and give her some milk alot. But she's pregnent, I'd take her to a Animal Shelter but they're ALWAYS full, they only have two cat spots. I'd take her inside and everything but I already have 5 cats, If I took her in they'd fight. She (the stray cat) Doesn't like other cats that much. And to make it worse, I'm moving in a week and a half, the day after Halloween. I've already found two other stray cats a home but that took 2 months, and I only have a week and a half to get someone to adopt a pregnant cat. Help.

I believe it came out of my cat and it certainly looked like vomit, they certainly looked and moved like worms....anyone have any idea what they might be called? He is an inside cat.....so he couldn't have eaten anything nasty outside...we did get him a couple of months ago from someone who was moving into a very small apartment....and his stomach has always looked funny......hangy
thanks
