I believe it came out of my cat and it certainly looked like vomit, they certainly looked and moved like worms....anyone have any idea what they might be called? He is an inside cat.....so he couldn't have eaten anything nasty outside...we did get him a couple of months ago from someone who was moving into a very small apartment....and his stomach has always looked funny......hangy
thanks

I'm not sure why everyone thinks it's round worms, I had a similar problem, and did some picture research to identify the worms in the vomit of my cat, and they were tapeworms,,but I will agree if coming out the moth a serious infestaion, in my case it wasn't obvious the cat wasn't real thin nor had a hanging belly, I cleaned my cats litter daily and never saw any signs according to the signs symptoms of tapeworms of a vet, good luck

This is serious. Cats need regular de-worming, and it's fine. But if he vomited them, it may mean his intestine has blocked with them and they are coming up his stomach. Go to the vet for de-worming IMMEDIATELY.

If it's a kitten then it is normal as most baby animals ge worms,. just take him to the vets for a check up and a worming.

Your cat has tapeworms or round worms and needs to be treated. If it's a tapeworm, your cat will starve to death because tapeworms eat half the nutrients in the food.So what I'm trying to say is take the cat to a vet.

You have a worms issue. Get your pet de-wormed immediately. Usually they are roundworms. And the "hangyness" of the belly is them infesting your cat. Take it to a vet, or just get some over the counter wormer treatment form a petstore. Get it taken care of quickly. Good luck.

Your cat has roundworms and guess what.... you can get them from him or her. The vet or your friendly department store carries wormer pills. Hurry and get some before you have to be treated also. I never knew that a person could get worms until a stray dog licked my son in the mouth. Within a few days, my son was pooping worms, that was stomach wrenching. HURRY GET TREATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
