we're moving in together this weekend...his cat likes to sleep on couch next to him. mine curls at foot of bed. i've had my cat for a long time, and i can't bear to kick the little furball to the floor every night. i think he should give a little. what's the big deal if the cat sleeps at the very corner of the bed? ugh!!

I always find my cat asleep in my son's crib, how can i stop this? Obviously I can just shut the door to his room but she sneaks in when I'm not looking and she can also open the door. I don't want to have to keep her outside. my son sleeps in a bassinet for now but I want to move him into his crib soon.

I was watering some plants when my cat came racing past me with a black bird in her mouth. I got her to drop it and i put her inside the house i have put the bird on top of the shed, but when my cat goes outside she will easily get it agian....same if i put it in a tree. It would not stay in the tree anyway if injured.
My cat has two bells on her collar, but it doesnt stop her catching the defenceless young ones.

What else can i do?.

I just can't stop thinking about this old guy, my lil Boobah. I don't know if I am suppose to put names up where I took him but I gave you all a hint. The reason I couldn't keep him is because I already had a cat before Boobah and the landlord said only (ONE-CAT) that is why I had to give him up. This was so hard, for both me and Boobah . So if anyone out there wants to adopt Boobah, you know where he is. He is a Lil lovable cat , that loves belly rubs and loves to sleep with you. He meows very low, and stays by you all day or night he is a very dedicated cat. I did try to find him a home. No one wanted him.. I know now I made a big mistake and they won't give him back to me now. How can I get him back, or would someone out there adopt him?

My cat is an indoor cat. But I let him go out a few times a week. He loves to be outside, chasing butterflies and lizards. This morning I was watching him, and I noticed he was eating grass and some leaves from the bushes. Then when he came back in I noticed some green fluid, like vomit, in the front entrance. Maybe he can't stand it in his stomach, so he vomited, but, can this be any harm for him?

When I worked in a shelter I heard this all the time when people left their cats. When I told them it was unnecessary I usually was met with hostility, like"omg, I can't believe you would ask me to take ANY risk with my fetus" kind of thing. I always doubted the claim this was why they wanted to get rid of the cat, as so many people lie at shelters, but do Doc's still tell pregnant women to lose the cats often? I mean ones that are younger too? And if you were pregnant would /did you listen to them?

I have found a stray little kitten, ehh...about 1 month old. Very skinny, light, and you could see all of it's poor little bones. It could hardly breathe. Inhaled about once every five seconds. It had dark mucas/gunk running down his whole face from his eyes. His nose looked like it was being crumbled up and it was flaking off. He was shaking. Me and mom were concerned, so we picked him up to get some help. I did not want to leave the poor baby to die. I picked him up carefully, as lightweight as a feather, and we decided to go down to the animal hospital at the corner of the block. Unfortunatly it was closed. My mom was getting upset. She wanted to make sure I got to trick or treat, but I did not care. Obviously the poor kitten was dying. There is an animal shelter that takes in sick animals about a mile away. We did not take him into our car, for it would get it muddy. We walked all that way and dropped him off. The workers took him in and said if it is a girl they would name it...

My cat has some kind of allergic reaction to something. He does not have fleas. He is indoors only and I apply frontline monthly.
I brought him to the vet 3 times this year and every time he got a cortisone shot and the vet also took a skin sample. Nothing was found. The shot seems to last for about 3 month and than it reappears. He is quite miserbale. i am now switching him to grain free food. And I have to get him another shot. Not sure what to do with him anymore.
I am also giving him Grizli oil which is omega 3.
It also does not help. I am not using any fabreeze in the house either.

Does anyone have any idea on what more I can do?

Thanks

I believe my kitten is mentally regressing or is mentally challenged. When we got her she was four weeks old and covered in fleas. We cleaned her up and started to litter train her. It took forever for her to get the concept of the litter box, but I've never had trouble with cats before. She finally got it, but suddenly the kitten has forgotten how to use the box and seems to have forgotten her name. She is almost four months old now. She does not respond at all when called and will not look us in the eyes. Three days ago she started meowing for no reason and when I found her she was staring at the corner meowing at nothing. She continues to do this whenever there is no one in the room with her.

Our 11 year old cat has fleas for the first time - its our own fault we forgot to change her collar in time. I am using johnsons house spray to eliminate as many as possible from the rooms in our 3 bedroom semi & have used their products to kill the fleas on her & have now used their spot on to help prevent another breakout, but am concerned that any unhatched eggs will start another infestation. As spraying is taking me a long time, I was wondering if anyone has used a flea bomb & if they are as effective as spraying? Do they get to all the nooks & crannys that you can with a spray ie under beds, sofas etc? Also, are they a gas or powder - I don't want to come home to find everything covered in mess and even more work cleaning it up! I've read that its best to leave the house for about 5 hrs after setting one off, but on the bob martin one in my local petstore it suggests 2 hours before thoroughly airing the room - would I need a seperate one for every room in the house? Please help!

The other day I took my cat out to my parents house and he ended up eating about 1/2 of our dogs' mini milk bone (about 3-4inches long) when we weren't looking. Then a day or two later he got sick and puked everything up. Also, he didn't eat or drink (not that I saw) anything the next two days. Then yesterday he seemed to be normal again and was eating regularly--he was also very playful seeing as he is only a 3 month old kitten. However, he is still getting sick........ about 1 or 2 times a day. Is this still related to the milk bone incident or should I be worried that something worse is going on? (it's been 4 days since he at the bone)

I have a kitten, about 10 months old, who doesn't cover her poopie when she uses the litter box. It smells worse than anything I have ever encountered in my life. Is there something I could give her, a supplement or vitamin that could take away some of the smell. Or would changing her food help?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Note: she was rescued from a parking lot were someone dumped her and her sisters in a box. I brought her home and we had her fixed and vaccinated, but she is Feline Leukemia positive and HIV positive. She is in relatively good health now, she eats and plays and is very loving. So I don't think the diseases have started to harm her yet. I know she will die one day and I try not to think about it. At least she has a loving home and a roof over her head, and isn't struggling to survive in a parking lot.
