i have recently inherited my sons cat and she is de clawed and fixed and my hubby does not like cat box odor.....she loves my finished basement and i was thinking on putting a doggie-door in that leads to the garage.....how do i get her to start going pottie in a cat box in the garage.....like i said....she does not the temperature change....so what do i do??????

my cat hates me during the day. he will sit there and glare at me and he will never let me get close to him or pet him but at night when im on the computer he comes and lays in my arms so i have to type over him. if i get up he sits there looking at me and meowing untill i come and sit back down then he goes back to sleep in my arms.

i dont want to give up my cats, but my lease isnt being renewed and i need to move. boarding is ok short-term but i have several cats. everyone here says to lie and say i dont have pets but i'll get found out and face eviction. any creative ideas for me and kitties to find shelter (in florida)?

I'm moving. My cat is 18 years old. She has always roamed the neighborhood. Not far though. Anyway she really likes the neighbors and they like her. She is so old that she is skin and bones. (i've tried everything to put meat on her bones). Ok the thing is this, I'm afraid she would have a very rough time on the trip with her age and all. My neighbors offered to keep her and she gets along with their cat. So should I take her with me or leave her in the place she has known her whole life? I love her and I want to do what is best for her. I am afraid the trip will make her suffer I don't think she will live more than 6 months to a year she has really gone down hill lately. i got sick yesturday from going camping.I didnt want to touch my cat so much until i got better.today when i woke up i notice that my cats nose was not as pink as usueal. her nose seems like a lighter pink color and its a little worm. Im scared to touch her now.she wants me to pet her but im scared to.she acks as she always does.I dont know if i got her sick or thats a cat thing.HELP!!! < need it fast.

I recently adpoted a cat, well she adpoted me. Unbenouced to my surprise she became a wonderful mommy of five kittens, well to get to the point she is always hungry!!! That is five minutes after she has just eaten. I now find her eating mice, birds., But last night i witnessed her devower an entire rat!!!! Is was not a little rat it was big, she ate the head first then it's feet, then it's body, and the tail leaving only the fur. Now is my cat a savege beast or just one hungry mommy? P.S. first time cat owner.
