I know it's impossible, but i'd love for you to share some answers. My cats ALWAYS sit in the windows and smudge them up with their noses and chase birds that fly by...it's hilarious! The funniest thing about them is...they don't like to go outside...they'd rather sit in the window and look outside.

I have no pets, but live in an apt. complex which has tons of stray cats. I just had them spray. How soon should I have them spray inside my house again and how often. I am aware that the larvae have a certain a life cyle and it is important to repeat the pesticide cyle with their cycle. Does anyone know this?

I bought a collar for my cats and all of them are doing fine with them except one.
He's almost 2 and I believe he has mild mental retardation. Whenever we put the collar on him he just lays right down and WILL NOT move until we take it off. I left it on him overnight thinking that he would just have to get used to having it on, but he didn't move an inch all night.
I know the collar isn't too tight as I just slipped it on him like a long necklace, and he wouldn't trip on it, I just don't know what's going on with him.
Any ideas on this one?

How do I keep a cat out of mu fenced yard? It will not go in the cat trap. I don't want to kill it. Is there a noise or smell that they don't like. It has to work at night when I am sleeping.

Thankyou.

I dont have money at the moment to take him to the vet yet..Is there anything I could do on the meantime ? I am dissgusted ! I thought they had given him parasite shots ..I paid for having him vaccine and everything as well , why is this happening now ? He only eats good brand dry food ..and water ..I am a bit disgusted ..

And I keep buying stuff for fleas for him , like sprays and stuff nothing is effective so far ...Not even the flea collar , any good recommendations !

I know that cats are lactose intolerant and he does get sick when he drinks milk. He actually likes any kind of dairy, including margerine and butter, which still make him sick. But if I want to treat him, is there any specific kind that easier on their stomachs? Like goat's milk or something?

Ok, thanks to all that responded to my first question which was why was she coming back to front porch, but running away when door opened etc.. Well, after a few weeks, and cleaning up 5 or so dead birds left on front porch, which im sure she did, I have not seen her since. Food left out, spca trap, nothing. A week or less later I get a call from a gentleman , in his late 40's and on my cell voice mail, number/ id blocked he simply said, " my condolences, your cat was hit by a car today. Sorry but atleast you know her whereabouts. " I got a bad feeling he was lying from the start. He blocked his number, didnt say he or who hit Tori, and come on, what did he do, run her over, go buy the paper, find the add and then call. He even said the apartment complex location. I think he was trying to lure my girlfriend over alone and god know from there. I knocked on doors for a few days and none remembers a cat being killed. I wonder if some sicko just gets kicks out of that. any thoughts?

My shop cat, whom I love very much came to us a year ago, that is about the extent of experience I have had with cats. He seems 'sick' like a human would look if they had the flu. Is this normal? I have never seen or heard of a cat being just 'sick'. I called the vets and they said all they could do is run blood tests. Should I worry enough to get the tests or is it fairly normal for a cat to be under the weather?

I have 2 cats, Patches and Calli. Patches had 4 kittens yesterday--under our bed no less!! I have a couple of questions, tho.

1. How can I get Calli to understand that the kittens are going to be here for quite awhile and not have her try to 'attack' the kittens? I went into the bedroom with her yesterday and once she heard the babies, she got defensive, crouched down like she was going to attack, etc. So, I picked her up and locked her out of the room for the night. I had my fiance put her outside this morning so that Patches could have some peace and quiet. When Calli was in the room, Patches started to lay on the babies. I know that she thought that she was protecting them, but I also know that if I had left Calli in there, Patches would have killed them in the process of protecting them.

2. Patches has the babies under the bed, on the carpet. Would it be ok for me to put the babies in the cat bed I got for her and then put the bed under our bed? If so, when?

Hello, I have a female ragdoll 9 month kitten that
seems to have a great appetite (1 to 1.5 cups of
premium cat food per day). Interestingly for the
past 2 weeks, she leaves parts of her dry cat food.
Even 5 minutes later, I can hand feet her or give
a treat and she happily eats. I know with many
outdoor or indoor/outdoor cats they bring a dead
bird and place it at your door as a gift to owner.
As my indoor only older kitten does not have this
chance, is this the same?
