How do I keep a cat out of mu fenced yard? It will not go in the cat trap. I don't want to kill it. Is there a noise or smell that they don't like. It has to work at night when I am sleeping.

Thankyou.

What kind of damage to your yard could a cat be doing??
As far as I know, there aren't any real repellants for outside. Noises they would figure out really quickly. Not knowing the damage I couldn't begin to suggest a solution -- I can't even imagine what the damage could even be.

you could call the humane society and both get them, or get an outstanding determination for a feral cat company, to set stay traps. caution: The humane society will euthanize feral cats. there will be a lady in warmth someplace interior of sight that's attracting them or a persons' feeding them. till the female receives fixed or that individual stops feeding them they are going to continually be round.

I heard that cyanne pepper works, just sprinkle it were the cat is going and they don't like the smell. Also vinegar works, and there are products available at the local pet stores that are "replents"
Good luck

How about an automated cat repellant like this one?

http://www.safepetproducts.com/pilot.asp?pg=catstop_main&GCID=S16049x007&KEYWORD=cat+repellant&OVRAW=cat%20repellant&OVKEY=cat%20repellant&OVMTC=standard

It operates on the same principle as a dog whistle--a high pitched noise that irritates cats, but which humans can't hear.
