I have two brothers 18 months from rescue home. When I got them they had just been neutered. One of them had a problem peeing after and was going every 10 mins & it was a bit pink. he stayed at the vet for the night & the vet said he was fine. Now, 6 months on, I see his brothers pee in the litter tray is sometimes a bit pink. Otherwise fit & healthy & happy. What could be wrong?

Am now using a bowl on the kitchen floor & one of them is pushing it accross the floor with his nose, spilling it of course! I have LOTS of kitty toys for them. Any more ideas out there? or do just get used to the idea I will be wiping up the floor on a regular basis? (at least it will be clean)

I have one of those enclosed litter boxes to give my cat privacy. He uses the box fine, but instead of covering his excrement, he scratches the sides of the box-basically, he scratches everything except where he should. Even when it's just been changed. What's the deal? Does anyone else's cat do this, or is mine just peculiar?

Ok guys felt guily for days and actually tracked down the 7 month old to try again, its a good thing I checked on her today as they already transfered her to the humane society and she was almost up to be put to sleep, $155.00 later and now i have the agressive kitten dying to be in the same room as me and my 7 year old.. two females seem like they love eachother and have fun palying but sometimes the older cat wants to chill and strut here and there without the young one all over her... tried seperating them for a week last time, right now they're on a time out as the older one seems to be once agin showing signs of being mad or jealous of the agressive kitten, and on the other side the kitten has once again cornered my 7 year old in the corner fighting...ok cat loevrs fire away PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO TO IMPLEMENT THIS CAT BUT YET MAKE MY OLDER CAT STILL FEEL LOVED AND LIKE SHE"S THE BOSS???? IM GOING NUTSO OVER HERE!!

My six toed (on every foot) tabby cat has always been so sweet and passive..(you don't even know she's here 90% of the time) All of a sudden...she is ripping up every other cat in her path..that extra claw on each foot gets the job done well! She isn't pregnant, but has started to nurse adult cats??? WTF?

His back claws are so long that they extend out of his paws when hes not putting any wait on them. shouldnt they retract like his front. i dont want him declawed cause thats cruel. and i dont want to hurt him. So should i trim them and will it hurt or affect him? he scratches his neck alot. and he has cut his neck twice. he doesnt have fleas. is there something to get him to stop scratching himself. hes an outside cat and im assuming the other cat has bit or did something to his neck to irritate him.

My 13 week old kitten Bogart (neutered male) keeps attacking my new kitten (13 week old spayed female, Dinah) when they play. He'll be okay chasing her, but he'll bite her hard until she cries and she doesn't really fight back. It's been over a week and he's still playing too rough with her. She's constantly being tackled and crying for help. Any suggestions???

A Female?

2007-01-31 14:51:23 · 14 answers · asked by 123 1

So my cat never used to like me to much. Got the random attention attacks, but overall just considered me the source of food. Then one day she fell behind the water heater in the closet, which was round, in a corner and had kitten stuck in the corner space, head down, at the bottom. After freaking out, I drained the heater and pried it away from the wall, so that my wife could lift up the cat. Cat was fine, I held her for about an hour then she went into hiding for about a week.
Now kitty loves me. Meows at me when I walk by. Wants to be on my lap. Rubs her head against me. Purrs. Has to sit within 2 feet of me at all times. And overall has turned into the most annoying cat ever.

Can something like that be triggered by a traumatic event and does anyone heard about something like that before?
