Just this morning I woke up with a cat beside my bed. Got in through the window I think. We decided to keep her. She is sweet and comes when I call her and always follows me wherever I go. I was just wondering if I could teach her tricks like dogs do? She seems pretty smart. I saw her lying on the sofa and I called her because we don't want her lying there and she got off. If it is possible to train cats how do you do it? thanks

My cat is quite strange. He licks all kind of plastic, even bottles with potentially toxic things in it. He also pees into boxes if he likes to, he even did that when I was sitting in front of him. But I don't think he's too stupid to understand what he's doing, because he can for example open doors closed doors and the food bin.

Is my cat a psycho?

I fed this cat once (despite my rule about feeding stray cats). Soon there were 4. My land lord says don't feed them on the property. So I've been sneaking feeding the 2 that keeps coming back. They are both not petable, but the one has finally allowed me to pet her. More and more this I love this cat. I cannot have a cat. Sooner or later, the day will come that I'm going to get in trouble for this cat coming in and out of my apartment! This cat will soon be knocked-up (another issue). Do I take her to get her spayed; only to dump her back in the neighborhood I live and pretend she isn't mine? I'm afraid to take her to the animal shelter because I don't think she is very adoptable due to her roughness. Her personality is awesome. Once she allows you to pet her she is very affectionate. One of the most love-filled cats I've ever seen. I'm torn. I want to do the right thing. I want to catch her, take her to the animal shelter and hope she gets a good home.

I'm wondering if my cat is depressed from being the only pet in the house. Should I get it a friend?

I brought him to the vet, but they didn't find anything wrong. They say if it continues, he will have to get a blood test. He used to be strong and healthy. Now he is weak and eats very little. But he doesn't complain. Is he depressed?

play with ice? Whenever we get ice from the ice maker they start running and then they want us to throw a piece to them to play with it. Is this weird?

She loves the attention, but then gets a nasty shock! What can I do to minimize this? I am not willing to use something toxic on her, but there must be something I can do!

Thanks for any info you can share...

The chemical make-up and percentage is the same, it's only the volume that is different. So if I just use the right amount, will it be okay?

I went to scoop my cat up and this is really gross! I touched her back legs and bottom to scoop her up. Something was wet on my hand and I looked down and it was a small white worm like an inch worm. What kind of worm could this be and does my cat have worms? How do I keep from getting them? Can humans get them? Help. I am totally grossed out and its 9:30pm too late to go to the vet tonight. My cat sleeps in my bed!

My kitten has diarrhea and she’s not cleaning herself is this normal- her kitten food hasn’t changed and she hasn’t gotten into anything that would upset her stomach. It’s been 4 days now that she’s had diarrhea.

No matter how cat food I feed to her, she eats up everything and seems like she is ready for more. I usually feed her about half a can a day. Could I feed her more? She is by no means fat. She's very slender.

One of my cat just lost his brother. We don't know what happened to him, but it's likely that he got hit by a car or something. He's been missing 3 days and we can't find him. We have quite a few other cats, but these two were the youngest and VERY close. All the cats are inside/outside and they all got along pretty well. Now this one just stays outside and never comes in, and when I bring him in, he cries like they do when they're going to the vet and he wants to go outside. When he's outside, he just stays in one spot and stares into space. He doesn't want to eat or anything. I've held him and talked with him and he doesn't struggle or anything, but he also doesn't purr, anymore. I don't want him to starve himself ... how can I help?
