I brought him to the vet, but they didn't find anything wrong. They say if it continues, he will have to get a blood test. He used to be strong and healthy. Now he is weak and eats very little. But he doesn't complain. Is he depressed?

If your cat is weak, then another vet visit is in order. ASAP.

He could be depressed, but I suggest you take him back to the vet for that blood test.

Cats are very good at hiding illness. When they stop eating, it's a good sign something is wrong.

in case you stay in a city or an section that is fantastically not likely that your cat has rabies. that is amazingly very uncommon that a domesticated animal comes down with rabies. in case you call an section safeguard , they are going to inform you the same element. Now, she might want to were hit with the aid of a motor vehicle yet did not smash any bones. If she had a temperature, she has an infection and can want to desire a more advantageous and longer performing antibiotic. keep her warmth till she receives to the vet. a heating pad set on warmth purely might want to help her. If it type of feels to annoy her, eliminate the pad. supply her droppers of water to keep her hydrated. i wish she recovers quickly.

My Blue Russian Mix did that about a year ago. We found out that she had eaten some strings and they had been lodged in her intestines. She didn't eat for a week and almost died.

She finally passed them a week later and is back to her old self again. We now double check to be sure there are NO strings in her reach that she could eat.

Has your cat had access to anything stringy?
