Cat food would do just fine! Any brand the cheaper brands will be fine sense he isn't spoiled yet.I always have fed my cats a good brand of dry cat food. Some cat cats prefer the canned cat foods.I like the name brands because they are healthier. I am not giving you name brands because I don't know what is available where you live.Hold off on the cow's milk it can cause diarrhea, but there are cat milk at Pet stores here in the States.

HI just wondering what area you are from because I lost my cat three days ago thats why I'm in this site at the moment.Back to the question it does depend on the cats age.I wouldnt recommend dairy even though they like it its not good for theyre stomach and due to the way they digest dairy they tend to get the runs and dont absorb the nutrients. My cats have been brought up on Whiskers kitten and cat fod and good quality chicken, steak lamb and believe it or not vegetables(not all cats will come at that )also eggs I dont know if thats vet recommended but I dont see the harm as they need a lot of protein. If its stray its probably hungry and under nourished Remember you never own a cat really they own you let the cat tell you what it likes they do.

Feed it cat food for sure - canned or dry.

I don't understand why someone would recommend Science Diet, Eukanuba and Nutro and then go on to say that cats should have meat and not grains - those three brands are all 2/3 corn and by-product meat.

The cat may be getting a good diet by eating mice and if he is not he needs commercial cat food. Taurine is an essential amino acid that cats must have in their food. All commercial cat foods have that added to their foods. Milk and rice will not provide this essential nutrient.

Well done for taking some responsibility for this cat. Are you sure it's not somebody else's cat? It might be no harm to put up some fliers, in case somebody is looking for the cat. Feed it any tinned cat food &/or dry cat biscuits. Half a tin of moist food & a handfull of biscuits whould be enough each day. Some cats don't tolerate milk very well, so watch for any signs of allergic reaction - loose bowel motions, for example. Make sure that he has clean water at all times. Good Luck with your new friend.

If you want to keep the cat buy some cans of cat food or dry cat food. Keep fresh water on hand. If it is a male cat, it's going to prowl at night. A lot of milk is not really good for a cat.

Cat food. You can cook a homemade diet for it but it's a bore and hard to do. Just buy some cat food. Milk gives adult cats stomach troubles. Until you can get cat food check the web for homemade cat foods.

Only feed it if you want it to keep coming back. If you want it to come back, feed it commercially prepared cat food. This is the easiest way to feed it a healthy balanced meal. Milk is a common cause of diarrhea in cats.

The cat needs cat food only. No milk.

Milk is not good! If you can not buy Cat Chow or other cat foods, share your cooked veggies and meats with it.Rice, Barley are ok.Raw meats and eggs can do on to them as they do to us and make them very ill also! Small bones (ifsh, poultry)can cause harm. Also a fresh clean bowl of water and or a dripping facet is a must!

Thanks for feeding the kitty. You are caring and kind-hearted to do so.

A "middle of the road" dry cat food would be a good choice - neither the cheapest brand nor the most expensive, gourmet kinds. I'm sure your new friend will appreciate a tasty meal.

Milk is not good for cats, but be sure to provide fresh water.

Are you planning to adopt the cat? Good luck.
