Ok so I am getting a cat or two in the spring. What are some good cat names for a boy kitty or a girl kitty?

Maybe you can try allowing a few days after you get the kitten to see if it "sort of" names itself - via a behavior, or habit?
Young animals can still learn to respond to a name, even if they are not given it right a way.
I once acquired a litter of kittens , and did not name them until several weeks after they were born.
Here is a short list of how they got their names:
Festus - was such a happy, outgoing, kitten....
Einstein - was the first to do several things...
Jetsam - was black and had a habit of farting :-}
Rima - did a "no-no" ontop my vintage Rima comic books....
.....You get the idea! Sometimes it can be fun waiting to see what names the little ones might choose for themselfs!
LOL!!

There are a ton of good names out there. My kitty's name is Cupid. I watched to see what kind of personalitiy he had and came up with his name. Then again he did help when I said Cupid and he meowed. Just watch to see what kind of personaltity your kitty has.
