My six toed (on every foot) tabby cat has always been so sweet and passive..(you don't even know she's here 90% of the time) All of a sudden...she is ripping up every other cat in her path..that extra claw on each foot gets the job done well! She isn't pregnant, but has started to nurse adult cats??? WTF?

Wow, the first think we need to know is if she is fixed. If she isn't then she has been hit by the heat fairy. It is so terrible. Does she make lots of weird noises, like "Brrrrr brrrrr brrrrrt brrrrrt" and get really flat to the floor and march her back legs with her butt in the air? If not, then heat is not the cause.

If she is acting up, it could be her age. You didn't mention her age in your statement, but often times a cat will turn into a kitten again, kinda like a second childhood to an adult. It is really nothing to worry about.

Does kitty try to attack you now at all? If not, and she keeps it to the other cats then she is just trying to show that she is the leader, the strong cat. Sometimes, with a lot of different animals, it is all about who is the fittest and who can rule the others. Most times you see this with males, but every now and again you will see it with a female.

The nursing on adult cats, hey man, are you SURE she isn't pregnant? If so, then females long for babies in EVERY species there is. I have heard stories of a female cat coming home with a stuffed animal and mothering it. She would take the stuffy to the food and water dish and shove it's head in... then back to her bed, to "nurse" it. I have also heard of females coming home with a real puppy and "mothering". No one knew where the pup came from, but they didn't try to stop it, as the puppy seemed completly contented by the cats intentions.

Don't worry too much about it. I think kitty will come out of it's funk, and in the mean time, just try to keep her inside for a little bit while she is in "shredder" mode.

You might want to have an electrician check out that wiring so that no fires start due to a short in a wire. Adjust the sensor light settings. Check for mouse droppings in the kitchen cubbards. Have a skin doctor check those back scratches for scabies or a mite infestation. Cover floors with rugs and put curtains on the windows to absorb some of the sounds that are bouncing around. Have a locksmith or handyman check that door lock. Set your video camera up to record things that appear to be moving around. Check levels and slants of tables, etc. Make sure you get plenty of sleep and that you are not getting overtired, which at this point some people say the black figure appears. Let the animal control officer know that stray black cats are around, and could be breeding. The Bible says if you oppose the devil, he will flee from you. Some people leave a Bible open and tell the demon to leave.

Is she is heat? sometimes cats and dogs when they go in heat they actually act as if they are pregnant. It would explain the nursing other cats and the aggression. If it doesn't change in a week or so you may want to take her to the vet as it could be a health problem. Good Luck.
