my kitten (who is about 10 months old) thinks she is a dog. i also have a bulldog mix who is almost 11 and i think the cat has learned these habits from the dog. my dog pants when he gets tired (duh) and i was wondering, is it normal for cats to pant?? because whenever she gets back from romping around in the woods she always comes back panting..?? she likes to dig in the dirt, too. i guess that one is a little more "normal" but the panting thing freaks me out! is something wrong with her?! please help. thanks!!

My kittens only eat a little and far between. They do eat regualr more at night than anything but when they get fresh food they only eat abit then leave it. eat abit then leave it for good!!

I lost my pet cat today. It was abnout 6:45 when my dad woke me up to announce the bad news. I automatically started crying and cannot stop. Ive been printing out picture after picture of him and I dont kno what to do. Plz help me if you can and dont stop posting answers becuase I have alot. i want to hear everybodys perspective.

My friend's kitty's is 8-months old and just had his 1st Rabies and FVRCP Booster shots at the time he was scheduled for neutering, next year he is scheduled for another Rabies shot and FVRCP Booster shot. This kitty never goes outside at all.

I can't help but notice that a lot of times when a question is asked a good number of you never answer the question but jump on the person asking the question. Tell me, how does it help a person that is already in stress over some sort of something to have someone they do not even know belittle them for asking a question? Show some sympathy and compassion - you don't know all the facts - just answer the question.

My cat ran past me when I opened the door with bags in my hands and ran out into the street where a car hit her. I went to take her to the emergency room but my car refused to start. She is barely moving or breathing and I am considering helping to the light. Any suggestions?

Sometimes I give my cat a bath with cool water and mild soap to help cool her off in really hot weather. Is this bad? how often is too much? Does it do any harm to their skin? I notice that my cat doesn't really like being touched or carried in the summer, is there anything else that I can do to keep her cool?

Its not really words, he is just makin sounds (like a baby does when it is learnin how to talk) and he keeps coming up to me lookin me in the face talkin and he's being all cuddly...what up with that??? He's already spoiled rotten, why is he just randomly doing this?

Our 16 week old kitten has a terrible odor coming from her rectum. We can't hold her without it stinking up our clothes. It's that bad! It's not feces. Anyone know? Her food? Parasites?

I have a one year old cat who lives in an apartment in Orange County, California with my boyfriend and I.
