NO - cats ears are loaded with nerve endings and blood vessels.
It would hurt like hell and bleed so much you would probably have to get it surgically repaired.

The answer in one word is ...no
This is the polite answer.
Something that you could do. Go to the phone book, get the number for a local animal protection group, phone them and tell them to come and save your cat. From you. The reason for doing this is because anyone that would consider hurting any animal to improve their own sense of fashion does not deserve to have an animal.

Yes it is considered animal abuse. Also, the cat doesn't know better like a human and is likely to pull them out and cause further harm to themselves. Do NOT pierce your cats ears.

Don't do it. I agree it would be unique but...the cat would never keep the earrings in and the only way you could do it is to take the cat to the vet & have him/her put to sleep & I don't know a vet around that would do that for you for the sake of piercing his/her ears. Instead of ear piercings, try a beautiful rinestone collar instead. You'll be glad you did.

Ask your cat if he/she wants a piercing. If he/she can speak English then find out what he/she wants.
I doubt the cat is going to want you to stab his/her ear.
Just continue putting holes in your own head and leave the poor cat alone.

No. No. No. It's not only animal abuse, it's child abuse because they don't have any choice in the matter.

Yes, that is total animal abuse. You would be inflicting pain on your pet for nothing but selfish, cosmetic reasons.
