Maybe he's thanking you for spoiling him rotten? Our kittens (and my cat that passed away earlier this year) talk to us all the time...and they talk to themselves...like when they find a toy they have been missing for a couple days...they get all excited and start cooing... I say just chalk it up to them loving you so much and not being able to say "I love you"! :-)

How old is the kitten & has it been away from it's mother long? It may just be trying to comunicate with you the way mother cats & her kittens do with each other. Just look at it as bit extra purk to being a pet owner. I wouldn't worry about it Our kitten (Maggie) is about 3 months old she does this same thing, she also suckles on blankets, her stuff animals & basically anything that is soft & furry. I find this a bit strange but I think it's because she was weened from her mother too early.

Answer him! He is telling you how his day is going? Probably suggesting something you two can do together. Like the usual pet me , love me, feed me, let me sleep. Then start it all over again.
Some cats talk all their life. Others hardly say a word. It is all in the tail, face and body movements. Certain breeds seem to do a talking thing more than others. I have found Siamese talk, mancoons talks some, and others. Enjoy that connection he has with you. Its called bonding!

My cat is almost 5 years old and she sits, looks up at me, and meows like crazy. She even makes these Gismo (from the Gremlins) sounds in which I think is cute. She talks to me constantly. I don't think there's anything to worry about with your Kitten talking to you. Yes, she may want more attention than what you're already giving her, but I think that's just how kittens or cats are. I personally thinks it's adorable and cute...

Your cat is telling you how much it loves you and appreciates you and its glad to be with you. I talked to my cat all the time. I greet her when I come in from work and she has lots of things to tell me about her day and she cuddles because she knows that I truly love her back. She knows I am going to take care of her by giving her food, water, and clean litter on a daily basis. She also feels safe with me knowing I won't let any harm come to her. My cat is just full of conversation and it is so amazing!

my cat is like that too! He's a talker and very affectionate. I think it's just personality. He will circle my legs and just meow until I pick him up. If it annoys you, however, try ignoring him or showing him somehow that he's not going to get what he wants by meowing. This trick is hard with cats, dogs are easier to teach that barking doesn't get them what they want. I like it that my cat talks to me and cuddles. You could put yours in another room or something too....
