Get a stuffed cat! Not a real one, but a teddy type cat. You can always hug it when you feel sad, and they never ever make a mess. Take care, and sorry for your loss.

A cat that is peeing all over the place either has a medical problem, or is pissed about something. Getting rid of the cat is just passing along the problem to someone else and probably end up with the cat being killed.
DONT Get another pet until you are willing to figure out what causes the issue and work through it, you shouldnt just dump tehm off when times get rough.
Poor kitty

well, maybe you feel bad for a reason. you did abandon your pet right? i'm sure people willl think, how mean of her to to say that, but, if you had an incontinent problem would you want to be gotten "rid of"? how sad. that poor animal. what happened to him? did you try and fix his problem or just give up and get rid of him cause that was easier? there are things that could have been tried. more animals are put to sleep or abandoned each year because they pee where we don't want them too. horrid!
please don't listen to the ones who tell you to get another innocent pet as i feel you cant be trusted will another life. get a pet rock, they dont pee.

This is in a cat category. If he was a cat, he should have been using a litter box. All cats will use a litter box. If there was a litter box available and he didn't use it, maybe you didn't keep it clean? Maybe he had a kidney infection. You should have tried harder to fix the problem before getting rid of the cator dog. Sorry that you lost your friend.

What you are missing is the companionship of your pet. Get another dog similar or even the same kind of dog. Name it Davidson. If you show the puppy love, they only know love back. You will not feel as empty.

My first little dog died of an aneurism...I cried and wrote a poem in her memory. A few months later, I adopted another homeless little dog...she loved to chew on everything and chewed up a cd case, which perforated her intestines. Again, I cried over my pet's death. Now, I have another little dog I adopted. You will never forget your beloved pet...write memories and adopt another, for that will help not only you, but also a little dog that needs a home.

Where did you "get rid" of him to????? Why was he peeing all over the place???? Was he neutered, if so, was he neutered before he reached sexual maturity and began spraying??????
I am not a fan of people who "get rid" of pets when they have problems that people do not like. Just saying "get rid" of him like he was a used newspaper or something!!!! It sounds pretty cold, not l;ike a well loved and cared for pet.

Sorrry about the problems with your dog. I'd guess that it was a male? They tend to mark their territory! Especially if they smell another animal there. If your carpet, furniture, or anything else has the urine smell, they'll probably continue to pee on it! lol? If you find another dog, maybe female, you'd be much happier! If you're like me, I wouldn't be happy without my dogs!! Hope this helps you a little bit.
