Latest consensus seems to be that a 1-year old cat is about equivalent to 15-year old person, 2-year old is equivalent to about 24 years old, and after that they age at about 4 cat years for every human year. Not everyone agrees with that, though.

I've heard that it's 5 human years for every cat's year, but it might be much different. There's some people claiming that 1 cat year is comparable to 14-15 human years.

I head it was 5 for a cat and 7 for a dog. every year a cat lives in like 5 years in a person. So my cat is now 15 yrs old that would make him 60 if he were a person.
