We just brought her home a week ago, she's about 10 weeks old. I've noticed that she's been sneezing a bit the past few days. Around 10 times or more a day- Is there anything I can do to help?

I also noticed that her eyes are a little weepy and she's got snots around her nose... poor thing! I think she has a cold. Anyone know any good remedies? Or do we have to just ride this out...

Take her to a vet... It could be something simple like allergic to brand of litter, or it could be something worse -- I know dogs get a thing called kennel cough that if left untreated could be really bad for them... Dont want to scare you, but give urself some peace of mind and take her to vet ASAP

Hi There,

Sorry that your kitten is unwell. By the symptom u are sayin' in ur question it sounds like that ur kitten may have 1 of 2 things. She may have the snuffles or she may have the cat flu. The cat flu aint good. If she does have the cat flu it will kill her. My advice? Take her to the vet as soon as possible. The vet may give u some medication.

Good luck and i am very very sorry ur kitten is unwell. Again Good luck

This happened with my cat when I first brought her home from the Humane Society. She was about the same age at the time. I took her to the vet and found out she had a form of kennel cough (generic diagnosis referring to respiratory diseases spread in shelters). They prescribed an antibiotic and it cleared up soon after. She went from kind of fearful & lathargic (thought it was just her personality or from the spay) to VERY active & playful (her real self).

Uh-oh. Take her to the vet. Not trying to scare you, but I had that with a kitten. He had a bad condition and sadly did not make it. Don't wait -- get the kitty to the vet.

I hope your situation turns out to be just a little cold.

It feels like your kitten both has a chilly or seasonal hypersensitive reactions. Yep, they get those corresponding to people! A examine-up with the vet might want to allow you to comprehend which and a thanks to address it.

I guess the kitten is having flu. unlike in humans, flu can be deadly for young kittens. so its best to get ur kitten to the vet soon n get it treated.

Try a brand of cat litter that is dustless.
That was the first thing that made mine hack and wheeze before.
Afterwards it might be carpet cleaners and such... but my money is on the litter.

Why would you want to stop a kitten sneeze? It's so cute!
