Is it possible that my cat can be the father of a litter of kittens even though I had him neutered years ago?

When a cat is neutered, it is castrated. It is a VERY different process than a vasectomy in humans, where the tube to the testicle is cut. Instead, the vet literally removes the animal's testicles in their entirety. So no. Not possible at all.

No because both of the testicles are physically removed during a neuter. However you could always double check to make sure that his testicles are really not there by feeling the the area.

Ummm...I knew a friend's cat who was 'neutered,' and then come to find out his testicles weren't completely taken out, and that meant that they were still functional, just not as effective as full-sized balls.

It is possible that there is still something there. Take him to the vet, and ask him to inspect it, and remove anything left over if there is something.

No it can not be reversed. the testicles have been surgically remove. If you want the cat to appear to have testicles there is a product call nuacalls that can be inserted under anesthesia. contact your vet for more information on this procedure.

No, for male cats, they remove the testicles (which produces sperm), and for females they remove the ovaries, and as far as I'm aware, there's no such thing as test tube babies for cats!

It is possible, but not probable. I know vasectomies can be unsuccessful, but neutering should be permanent.

If both testicles were removed, which you should be able to tell if they weren't, your cat is sterile. Thanks for having him neutered.

Once the balls are gone, he cannot be a cat daddy.
