yes they are little irritations on your skin caused by the claws. Most human skin reacts to claws in this manner.

This is VERY normal. What you have is the result of your cat getting a foot-hold as he/she's climbing into your lap.

My 2 cats leave these marks with their hind claws (both have been de-clawed in the front).

I suggest cleaning these welts with warm soapy water and maybe an antiseptic. You don't want to get an infection at the sight.

Cats have bacteria in their saliva that causes penalization in small animals. For larger animals, it results in redish infected wounds, which usually clears up within a few days. Because cats are constantly licking their paws/claws that bacteria is transferred to their claws.

it's probably claw marks or a slight allergy. You could try taking an over the counter allergy medication and see what happens. You will either get better or worse.

i agree with valag, but what also can cause this is an allergy to pet or specifically cat dander(dandrif). when cat's scratch they get the dander caught under their claws. it's natural that animals shed this. i've had this exact allergy for years. it won't hurt you. if it iches try an ich relief cream, there are tons.

The bumps are the same thing as if you get scratched by somebody.

you maybe allergic to the cat. Or it could be something the cat has on it. Like a spray or shampoo.

ask your doctor, but i wouldn't worry buch. when a cat puts his.her name into u, it usually becomes a bump(swelling..not sure but maybe sometimes). i hope you're not allergic to your cute little baby =)
