I highly doubt that a 2 week old kitten could kill a mouse unless it accidentally fell on one and suffocated it.

A cat isn't going to be able to hunt effectively until about 4-6 months of age. Then the carnage will begin :o)

No,a kitten will start to hunt with it's mother's help at about 12 weeks of age.A two week old kitten would just be starting to get it's baby teeth and learning to walk, there's no way it could kill a mouse, and it's prey drive wouldn't even have kicked in yet,so it would just look at a mouse as another kitten.

No, a 2 week old kitten can barely walk and has no teeth. But a 8 week old kitten could kill a small mouse.

A two week old kitten isn't old enough to be eating solid foods, so it definitely won't be old enough to catch a mouse. Naturally, kittens will nurse for 3 months while eagerly learning from their mothers how to hunt, in preparation for their independence. At the age of 12 weeks a feral kitten will be independent from it's mother and is old enough to catch it's own prey.

Male Cats will kill Kittens which at the instant are not there very own offspring. you would be able to desire to seperate the two cats for maybe 2 weeks or untill the kitten isn't hunted anymore via the male. This ist natur and not a foul habit. they might become buddy's later in lifestyles. yet for now - your kitten is in possibility!

Not all cats are good hunters. Mine is very good at catching leaves and bits of polystyrene. Apart from that, she goes through the motions and chickens out at the last minute.
