This male stray that i have been feeding has really trusted me. He comes to me as soon as i open the door,comes when i call him, rubs against me and rolls on the floor in a friendly way. (we are getting him neutured and vaccianted soon) I have noticed that when i first see him he is all affectionate but after i feed him i can still pet him but he is not that interested.

I have 2 female cats and 2 male cats. I have found that it doesn't matter what sex they are. After eating, all 4 cats like to go rest and digest and groom then sleep. He doesn't mean anything by it. He trusts you to feed him and pet him even AFTER he has eaten. That is a good thing. :-)

All strays are like this, they like the social time before eating, but after eating it's groom time and they do that alone. Ours always eat and run too, then sit in the back and get their fur all put in place. Sleep comes after that.

He's just being a cat! Mine always wants to go out after she eats. When you figure, what does a cat have to look forward to; they sleep, eat, and poop. . . .

That's a cat for ya! He's probably excited when he first sees you and anticipating his meal, but once he gets that he's satisfied. Not all cats are that way, they all have their own personalities. Bless you for having him neutered and getting his shots.

haha of course not..one he is male and typically male cats are like (men jk) only want affection when they want it..and after they got it there done with you..at least thats how my male cat is..its normal dont get hurt feelings
