Is the Black Jaguar from Central America and I believe some other countries in South America, the fiercest Great Cat to tame or handle?
I understand its ferocity does not lend itself to training at all!
I would be very interested to know, though!

I may have provided a misunderstanding. I feel it would be humiliating a deed to tame or train any wild creature . . My question dealt with having read on occasion that the jaguar is the most insistent on not being handled or tamed or trained. And, so requires much room, timing and patience, unlike perhaps, a tigre or a lion.

I have worked with big cats that are born in captivity and although they all have their individual personalities certain cats just are easier to work with.Lions are usually the easiest big cat to work with because they are more laid back then say a tiger or leopard. It doesnt matter if its a black or regualr jaguar its still a jaguar. The jaguars I have worked with do tend to have a bit more of a tempor and be a bit more rough then other big cats but they still like to have interaction.

A black jaguar is the same as a regular jaguar, it just has a different gene for the coat color. An albino one would be just like a regular jaguar also.

The fiercest cat would be the one most afraid of being caged and approached by humans, not by species. It comes down to the individual cat.

i believe that all wild cats are the same difficulty to train.....but it depends on what age you are trying to train them....if they are still a cub, they might be easier to train than when they are adults.

i don't think ANY wild cats are meant to be trained for human's amusement...i think they belong wild in the wild where they can thrive and be themselves.
