front line is the best..i have a cat and he goes outside so not only do i have to worrie bout fleas but i have to worry about ear mites ticks..you name it frontline is the best!!!

Frontline, Advantage and Revoltion are all excellent, so is Advocate. Frontline Plus probably has the slight edge over the rest as far as flea control is concerned, because it also kills flea eggs and larvae.
Pick up a house spray from your vets too.

you really need some english lessons. Anyway. Advantage, Frontline or Revolution are all good products. Each vet office is going to seel different products so which ever you vet sells is fine. You are right, over the counter products are a waste of money.

I dont know how old your cat is, but when i got my kitten at 10 wks old he had TONS of fleas and I bought this flea shampoo (which shampoo is more of a pain to do than just putting frontline on i know) but when I washed him with it, every flea it touch died! Now, I did wait after his bath when he settled down and picked all the dead ones off with tweezers, but it worked really well. It is called De Flea pet shampoo. Kills fleas on contact for use only on dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens.
its is "Natural Chemistry" brand.
One bad thing about it, was once i started washing his body, some of the fleas tried to rush to his face where i hadnt put any yet, so if you do try it, i would suggest washing the face FIRST.

Both Advantage and Frontline work well. I like Revolution the best b/c it prevents fleas, ticks, ear mites, round & hook worms, and heartworm. Revoultion is also usally more cost effective than Advantage or Frontline.
