There is no such thing as a cat abortion..there is spaying a cat where the whole uterus is removed. Even if she was pregnant..they would not JUST remove the fetus (which is an abortion). NO!! Do NOT give here a bath. The water can get into her insicion causing bacteria to get up inside and cause an infection. Let your cat clean herself..that is what cats do. Did the vet not give you any instructions? Why not call the vet and ask the next time you have a question rather than putting your cat in danger.

I'm assuming here that your cat was spayed while she was pregnant. Whatever it was you should follow the post-op care instructions provided by the vet. For now it would be best to let your cat rest. Once she has healed some she will likely clean herself up. If for some reason she needs some help then a bath may be in order, but give it at least a week if not more before going that route.

Putting a cat into water after major surgery is NOT recommended. Just leave her be, she's got about four layers of stitches and is probably going to be in pain from it for a week. Don't stress her out and make her move that would aggrivate or tear the stitches, get the stitches wet (they could get infected) or cause more pain by having her struggle to not be bathed.

There's no reason to wash her if she hasn't gotten into something smelly or unsanitary, and if she HAS and it has to be removed, use a wet washcloth only on the spot that is dirty. Cats clean themselves, let her heal and do her own grooming.
