Although she is a neutered, this cat backs up to furniture and while she is spraying backwards, her tail is up, fat, and quivering. I know it's a behavioral problem, and that Normally females don't do it, but she does. I'd hate to have her leave.

Hun female cats don't spray males do if i where u i would take him to the vet and get him neutered i know it doesn't sound nice but it will help and he won't spray anymore males do it to mark their territory in the wild. So talk to your vet about getting him neutered and you and your furniture will be allot happier:) best wishes to you

how to stop a cat from spraying on your furniture?
Get rid of the cat.

Seriously, have you had her checked for a bladder infection or any medical issues?

Is her litter box easily accessible?

I would call your vet ASAP and let them know. They can point you in the right direction. I would call immediately knowing her "status" depends on your action.
