he isnt constantly squinting it but i have noticed him squinting that one eye from time to time. He doesnt seem to be in any pain, hes been eating and everything...so no signs of him being in any pain at all. Im just wondering if this is something i should be worried about and if it is any ideas of what this could be?

I have 3 cats-2 male and 1 female. I've had all 3 fixed as soon as they were old enough. The 2 males are brothers from the same litter. All 3 cats are approx. 3 years old and they're all indoor cats. Why do the 2 males still spray all over the place? Bedroom, living room, kitchen (on the toaster), just about anywhere. I'd hate to get rid of them, but this is really getting old. HELP!!

My mom became attached to a stray and let him eat some tuna that smelled pretty bad. He started losing weight even when eating and then almost stopped eating. He became real life less. He still roamed the neighborhood, but came back wore out. He Yesterday she found him on the side of the house dead. He looked like a older cat and was almost fat untill this started about 3 weeks ago.

I have read that canned pumpkin can be given to cats with diarrhoea. I am looking at this as an alternative to Metamucil. However, I can't actually get canned pumpkin. Would boiled and mashed/pureed pumpkin be ok?

I had visitors and never got a chance to take her 10-12 days ago when I was supposed to. I feel horrible the skin and hair have grown around them - which will make it more painful to remove. Should I take her now or just let them be ???

I have a Ragdoll cat with very long fur. He is aging as well. He occasionally gets fur clumps, which I simply brush out or cut out. Recently, he developed a huge matt on his neck/chest area. I carefully cut it out. Today I come home, and I notice a HUGE bald spot on him! It is in the area where the clumps were. The skin still has some hair on it, but it is very fine and thin (his hair is generally fine anyhow). The skin is also very pink, but I don't know if this is normal color or not as I have not seen his skin before. Does anyone know what this could be?

I've read up on the recall for the pet food by menu foods, and IAMS listed some recall codes for their wet food. One website listed some products, but I was worried about wet foods (meat with gravy). I feed my cats fancy feast and its made by purina. I tried contacting the phone number but I got a recording saying they were closed.

My mom has an older cat who has kidney failure and is now on a special diet, he ate iams and friskies wet food. Im just curious if anyone knows if fancy feast is on this list.

Last friday my cat went to the vet for an x-ray. He was put to sleep in order to do this. It took him a few days to bounce back to normal. He had been having trouble walking due to a leg injury. He is also a diabetic. About 3 days ago I noticed he didn't seem to be eating and refused to eat treats including cat nip. He seems to also be coughing mostly at night. Sometimes he vomits a light brown liquid. This is what the vomit would normally look like, but with chunks. I did switch his food today to another brand. He ate a little, but he looked like he was having trouble swalling. Also when I took him to the vet they shaved his neck and attempted to take his blood from there for his blood test.

My cat ate a biodegradable packing peanut before I could get it away from her. The box that they were in says they are made of corn starch, but doesn't say if anything else is in them. She seems fine, but I'm worried.

My kitten well, teenager is an indoor cat with loads of energy always running around the house. Anyway I noticed she put on some weight so I switched her dry food from Normal to a light formula. Same brand (Chicken Soup) and i always mix it with wet too. Now she looks noticable thinner. Should I put her back on the normal formula or mix in more wet food?

I have a male cat, about 1 yrs old now and recently he has been getting into a lot of fights with the neighbors female cat. Now... i am not sure whther this is "normal" cat behavior or something to worry about, but due to these (cat fights) he engages in he gets hurt. Has scratches, open wounds, bleeding... Just recently i witnessed one of these fights and was scared half to death, violent indeed and they wouldnt stop. Also his attitude changes, he becomes lazy and depressed looking, doesnt want to be petted or touched and often hides under the bed. If anyone has anything to say about this please let me know, thank you.

I recently got my 1 yr old cat, Nina. When I adopted her I was told she did have a upper respitory infection that had infected one eye, but it went away. I was told she is now healthy. A week after getting her, I noticed her left eye has a white spot on the outter edge. It is mostly visible when she looks to the right. The eye also looks a little teary at times, and she squints a little when in the light. I haven't been able to find anything like this online, but I will be taking her to the vet soon. Has anyone seen this before? Could it maybe be some type of scar tissue from her infection? Thanks!!!

I have a cat, she is saimese, and a dwarf. Now the cats in the house think she's a baby, she's not shes 1 year old. Whenever my cats get pregnant, she feeds on them. Her grandmother got pregnant and she started feeding. Now she has the mother breast feeding her, when she's not even pregnant. It's getting out of hand. She already knows how to eat, and this is the 3rd time she has breast fed off of someone. Anyone give me suggestions on how to stop it?
