I have never had a cat. I like an animal that cuddles and will come to you and let you pet it. Tell me please about the nature of a cat. Thanks

We've had this cat since she was 6 weeks old and she has always puked up her food. We
ve brought her to the vet and he says that it is just a normal thing for her to puke. Like she has acid reflux or something. We just moved into a new house like 3 weeks ago and she has puked about 11 times since we moved in. What can I do to get her to stop? She is 10 years old now and noone will take her because she is old. Does anybody want her?

well first of all m ykitty is only 5 months old. my believes she is in heat, but i think ther eis more to it. she is meowing very loud and meowing all the time. but now she has also starting shaking when she meows and will not let you touch her. she has not eaten in about 12 hours (i gave her lunch but she did not eat it. she has not had supper either) what could be wrong with her? my mom says nuthing is wrong and since she is going to her in to get her shots on tuesday, we should not worry. i am worried though. she has always been the quitest little kitty. my mom called the vet and they are closed so we cant take her in anyways right now. what could be wrong?

My cat has recently started spraying on items in the backyard. Why would she be doing this? Could she be trying to attract males?

My kitten has 2 beanie babies she carries around, but every morning I find 1 of them floating in dog's water bowl....along with anything else she feels is funny to put in there. If i dump out the bowl at night she sits and yells about it......I can't win! I'm just trying to be 1 step smarter than a 8 mth old kitten!
Anybody's cats do this? Why???

My cat snuck out an open door around 2 AM yesterday. I've called for him, put up fliers, contacted the microchip company, contacted the animal shelter, contacted the vets in town, set out his favorite food, and even left the garage door open at night. Today, I rented a humane cat trap from the animal shelter. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Our outdoor cat had a kitten that was born behind our outside washer/dryer. It thinks that the area is her spot to go. It is difficult for me to get behind the machine to clean and w/summer near it's starting to smell and attract flies. Is there anything to spray or put back there to deter it from using that area?? Someone suggested sprinkling a spice on the ground, would this work?? If so, what type???

I answered a question recently regarding a male unneutered cat that was allowed outside and thus created a litter of feral kittens. The owner emailed me saying that she is no way responsible for this because the female cat he got pregnant came into her cats territory.

I'm simply flabbergasted that anyone can be this clueless.
I wanted to see how many reasonable people really answer questions here so here it goes..

Is the owner of an unfixed cat responsible for and at fault for kittens being created by said cat?

I was cooking some hamburger and drained the excess fat off into a dish. I let it solidify so as not to let it get stuck going down the sink, i can just scoop and throw away. Anyway, my cat ate about half of it, does anyone know what that will do to my cat, or will it just pass through her

So people are saying that the dry pet food could also be tainted, however, the FDA wont comment. My cat eats Iams dry food and I do not know if I should allow her to continue eating it. It angers me that there are no difinitive answers or tests being done. What are you doing in this instance? Any suggestions? Is there any other info out there?

We have two cats one of which is about 11 years old. We moved into a new apartment and they somehow have fleas although they are both inside cats. We have tried the sprays on the carpet and the cats and the flee collars and advantage. Nothing has worked. Last weekend we combed them both and got a wet-vac for the carpet, put new flea collars on the cats and yesterday i noticed they are both still scrathcing and I can find new black things on their fur. I am going insane and we cant complain to the apartment office because long story short: they dont know we have cats since they changed management, old management was fine with our cats and told us not to bring it up to the new management. Any suggestions would be very helpful, please keep in mind that one cat is really old. THANKS!
