We've had this cat since she was 6 weeks old and she has always puked up her food. We
ve brought her to the vet and he says that it is just a normal thing for her to puke. Like she has acid reflux or something. We just moved into a new house like 3 weeks ago and she has puked about 11 times since we moved in. What can I do to get her to stop? She is 10 years old now and noone will take her because she is old. Does anybody want her?

Your vet is full of it. It is never normal for a cat to puke a lot, never, ever. First of all, take it to another vet. Make sure it's free of parasites and disease. THEN you switch it to an appropriate food because the cause of vomiting is most likely an allergy to the grains in it's commerical food. (if you've been feeding commerical food, that is) Grains are in almost all cat foods and are dangerous for cats, who are obligate carvnivores. They need raw meat, raw bone and some raw fat and organ meat. Raw. There is no danger of food poisoning; this is a lie and sham promoted by pet food companies. Vets only get about 10 hours of training in nutrition while in vet school and it is usually by a pet food representitive! Feed her raw and she will most likley stop puking. It's worth it to get over the fear of appropriate feeding of a carnivore. Please check out rawfedcats.org and don't let your kitten suffer anymore. Her throat is being burned by stomach acid every time she vomits. It is not normal.

In the meantime, get her canned food (NOT dry) and make sure it is a NON-GRAIN food. Wysong and Wellness make some canned foods that are non-grain. Check the labels to be sure.

i wish i could have her but i guess all i can think of is probably anxiety problem or did you noticed the amount of hairballs in the vomit? cats needs some kind of leaf/plant to get rid of hairball in their bellies. or your cat has a reaction towards new food or some kind of chemical reaction. just makes your cat has enough water to drink, clean water possibly not unfiltered tap water.
