It's not a Cat, but it acts like a Cat, it looks like a Cat and it's in deed a Cat. What is it?

I have a 6 month old kitten. I know I will have to get him fixed, but what is the best age to do that. I have heard that declawing a cat is very inhumane. What do you think. Is declawing a good idea. (Just the front paws of course).

My kitten was just spayed today and the cone is driving her nuts. I have had her in here kennel and when I tried to let her out to eat and go to the restroom she starts jumping and trying so hard to get the cone off. My vet told me to make sure she is not running or jumping.

So my question is will she hurt the incsion by trying to fight with the cone with all of that activity???

I have 2 male cats, my boyfriend, me, my daughter, and a pitbull. My female cat Kitty is extremely effectionate to EVERYONE but when we got our Pitbull she has been bullying her alot. My cat keeps on attacking and hissing at her and we have to keep them in different parts of the house so that she wont beat up our dog. Why is she so aggressive towards our dog yet so loving towards everyone else?

What do I have to do?
It eats chicken almost everyday. But I don't think this should be the cause, right?
It doesn't have any fleas.

My favorite breed of cat is a Bengal, because they look so beautiful and they have such bubbly personalities. My Bengal kitten fetches fake mice and brings them back to me as if she were a dog, and she loves to cuddle.

This is a vet who provides low cost/free spaying and neutering, who tests all animals for feline leukemia in order to properly sort them. The vet recommends euthanasia for all luke positive cats but wont tell you the results of the test unless you pay him $31. he will go ahead and let you pay to spay a positive cat but wont inform you of such unless you cough up the dough. my thought is if he is already doing the test without your knowledge and permission why should he withold the results. luke is very contagious and not saying anything could result in more infected cats. many of the cats he does are feral colonies, who is going to pay that kind of money on a stray, knowing these cats will be re-released isn't it unethical to refuse to tell whether the cat is infectious?

What is the deal with my cat? What can I do to make her stop being bad?!?
I've had my cat for a few months, and for the most part she is good. but recently, she has been peeing and pooping outside the box. The box is really clean, and Pretty big. sometimes she just craps right next to it, and sometimes she'll scoop sand out and then crap.

I bring her over to it and then spray her with water to let her know that it is bad.

I give her attention and I'm not mean to her, Nothing in my life has changed recently.

Why is she being suck a punk?

I have carpet in my kitchen and I'm getting so fed up of renting a carpet machine every weekend I'm thinking of giving her up.

But, I love her what can I do to make her stop now?!

I have been using Purina cat chou, probably the only one that was not recalled by being poisoned. My cat loves it, but she is getting really fat. Is there another brand, that would not make her so fat, but would also be good, and without recall for rat poison?

We adopted a cat that was pregnant. She has had litters in the past and is 3 years old. The previous owner said that she became pregnant again before she could get her spayed. I have had her 2 and a half weeks. When I got her, the owner told me that she should have the kittens anytime. Since then her stomach has gotten huge! It sticks out on both sides and she is uncomfortable even laying down. She is half Siamese, so her body is pretty lean and her legs are long. Even with these characteristics, she still is very large. Is this something that would alarm me to a large litter of kittens, or is this normal? I have watched her day and night, but I don't see any tell tail signs that birth is close. I called the vet and they told me that since she had had litters in the past, there should be no concern. I am worried, and she is so huge! Does anyone have any advice or experience to share?

Is there a reason why my cat doesn't like this kind? Once we got some for him and we hid it inside a jar with a lid on it on the top shelf in our closet, BEHIND a container of dish soap and still got to it, i dont know, but we smelled it and it smells like peppermint tea! Why is my cat not interested? Please help me.

He got out last night, and was brought back this morning by a nice lady who found him. Now when we hold him we can sort of feel a strain in his muscles when he breathes, he has never passed a hairball, and peopel suggested it could be that, but i'm worried because he was out all night, i am wondering if he swallowed something. Please help?

My cat had turned 6 months and was an outdoor cat. She got pregnant and had a litter of 2. after her kittens were ready to leave, we took both of the kittens to my neighbors house. They were willing to take both cats. My cat kept bringing her kittens back or her kittens kept coming back by themselves. I personally think that she brought them back because i think they were to little to walk that far. Anyways after the second time we took the kittens back, my cat just disapeared. she never came back and my neighbors say they haven't seen her. The kittens are still there now and are almost 8 months old now. there has been no sign of the mother since then.
My friend says its bad for cats to get pregnant at such a young age....what do you think?
