A couple vicodin should do the trick. Just kidding, I'd call your vet and ask. Good luck, hope he gets better!

Call your vet immediately. He may have been bitten by something and having an allergic reaction, or some form of trauma or he may have an abscess. Do not give any medications without seeing your vet. I'd be concerned (as someone else mentioned) about his airway if the swelling is severe and extends to his neck.

Human medications will kill your cat, and its a horrible death to witness. I agree with everyone else, take your cat to the vet. One question though, was your cat in the house when you came home, I'm thinking snake or spider bite. Something to consider

Why is your cat's face swollen? First, call your veterinarian or emergency vet, if it is after hours. They may advise you to give it benadryl if it may be an allergic reaction. But get your cat to the vet ASAP. Facial swelling could develop into breathing difficuties.

Kitty needs to go to the vet so the cause can be found. Wouldn't be a good idea to give pain medication without knowing why. Please don't try to give him human medication, as some of it is poisonous to cats.

Never give a cat any pain meds. It will kill it. If concerned, call your emergency vet and ask them. They do not charge for a phone call, only if you have to take it in.

Call your local emergency vet immediately! Take your cat to them if they say that would be best. Just don't give him any human medication, it could be poisonous to him.
